Just watched .Rec. Nice little zombie flick. The camera even made sense in a lot of parts, unlike the Zombie Diaries and Diary of the Dead and the like where you just wanna scream, 'put down the bloody camera and help people not die!' Watching the bonuses was fun too as it seems like they had at least two or three story ideas for where it was supposed to go, (Corridor of nails with a bunch of dead kids, the main character escape down the stairs while the zombies stare at the ceiling, she tries the same and gets mauled...) and they changed it somewhat here and there.
Or a lot. But the characters were pretty realistic and well portrayed and bar one bit (the little girl) most of the stuff made sense.
Pretty cool for the most part, and the best camcorder zombie movie of the three I've seen so far. I'm interested to see the American version now.

Rec is probably the best cam horror/zombie flick out there, I agree completly. I even had a few jump moments which is rather surprising.

Rewatched The Thing(1982) and I have to say it is still the scariest science fiction movie I have ever seen to this day. We seriously need more directors like John Carpenter. Hollywood needs to stop all these untalented directors from remaking his films. Makes me mad just thinking about remakes.

I just watched Max Payne and thought it was horrible. I'm so glad I didn't go see it in the theater. And it's not just the fact that they messed up some of the story, it just wasn't a good action movie. It was very boring and predictable. I hate to say this but the Resident Evil movies were much better.Last edited by Stars1356; 01-27-2009, 02:23 AM.

RE: Degeneration
9/10
Such a gorgeous and action packed movie. I especially loved the way the WilPharma facility was designed. It's what the live action ones should've been.
Though I could've used some more of Claire kicking ass, and a mention of Wesker, Sherry or someone from STARS.
Max Payne
6/10
I've only played a bit of the second game. Mark Wahlberg is a gorgeous man, so he was really the only reason why I went to see it, lol. Just an average film, though nothing too spectacular

Anyway I just saw We Own the Night which was a really good movie and is the third movie this week that I saw that had Marky Mark in it.
