  • I dont think that Inglorious Basterds was Tarantinos best work to date, as many do. I hold "From Dusk till Dawn" and "Pulp Fiction" superior to it.

But its a great movie nonetheless. Its a good month for moviegoers.

That doesn't count, From Dusk Till Dawn was directed by Robert Rodriguez, Tarantino was the producer and co-star to George Clooney.

Ive always thought it was a Tarantino movie. Kind of like... common sense. Never even thought to look it up. That just leaves Pulp Fiction then...

        • What do you think about True Romance (if you've seen it that is)? That's written by QT but directed by Tony Scott. I think it's a nice little film. Some cool scenes, such as the one between Dennis Hopper and Christopher Walken.

Holy crap, I never knew that. I thought QT directed it as well!

Great film with an incredible shout out at the end. Brat Pitt had a small role and Val Kilmer played Elvis.

Very underrated movie. Christian Slater and Patricia Arquette were great in it. It also featured a young Tony Soprano(James Gandolfini). The Chris Walken-Dennis Hopper scene was epic, though. And the ending was crazy.

                  • The Final Destination

An utter piece of trash. Imagine when FD3 is completely stripped from its nonexistent story and supernatural vibe, you get TFD... The cool aspects of FD1 and somewhat even in 2 were these mystical themes which served as great buildups for the deaths. Death itsself was never "obvious" in executing its plan as the most it did was summon a small breeze through a window at the right time. In TFD, shit is literally moving around on its own...

Its garbage, and I laugh at those who are trying to excuse the movie out with "but its only a horror movie, dont take it so seriously ".

Some of my friends are going to watch it for the same reason and because it's in 3D.....

The 3d effects were cool, like when you have a flying screwdriver coming towards your head as if you were a victim yourself. If you take away the 3d effects though, the film was absolute and utter garbage. Seriously, 70 minutes long, the ending was absolute shit, and my god, the worst film in the series by FAR. I love FD1, think it's a brilliant film. As this was THE Final Destination, I thought it'd at least offer some theory or explanation as to why this is happening. What the significance of Tony Todd's character was. All I saw was gimmicks, no story (I couldn't remember the main character's name 30 minutes after watching it and I still remember the names of the 2 main characters from FD1, they leave no lasting impact on you at all), and just a cheap cash cow.

                          • Saw Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle the other day on TV and now I want some White Castle. There is one near my cousins house and whenever I visit him I get some.

                              • Watched Bully last night and really enjoyed the movie. It was directed by the same guy that did Kids and was based on a true story.
