Spoiler:
You´ll have to watch it. Ever came to a realization about a movie, that watching it, despite not liking it, is like a cultural obligation? You have to see it, otherwise you dont know how the world works or youre stupid or something? Thats the same thing with Twilight, youll just have to grind yourself through those 1.5 hours. The movie is entertaining, once you get used to gagging, that is. I dont know how to explain this phenomenon to you, but if I had to use a picture, this would describe it-
Spoiler:
The movie is basically every teenage girls wetdream. The main character is a girl, who is beautiful, but beautiful in a natural way. Shes smart, and has a personality, so shes not like everyone else (zing!). The guy is mysterious (hes a fucking vamp!), hes handsome and has the jawline of David Coulthard, so hes manly, strong. Then hes quiet, but extremely intelligent, caring, and can be agressive (manly!) when the situation calls for it. Hes perfect. And then theres everyone else, whos a pure and bland representation of what a typical "father, mother, brother, sister, dog" would be, but noones focusing on them.
So, in short. Get up and watch it.
I read this one before I went to see it with a girl. So I was well prepared-

nightmares aside i recently saw District 9 and while it wasnt as good as it was hyped up to be it was still a pretty decent film. Its got a lot of great action scenes and the film is also quite sad and moving.

Anyone who has ever so much as found the slightest complaint with Eragon or Harry Potter shouldn't even touch this melodramatic, Mary-Sue covered bull****. It's like it was written by a preteen girl.
