I think any Saw after 1 is a cash cow and not fond of them. Saw 1 was brilliant, really cleverly done and a really enjoyable watch. Anything after that was just unnecessarily sick (especially Saw 3). IMO, the first was cleverely crafted, well thought out and good, and after that it just seemed too similar to Hostel.

Really? I agree with what you say about Saw 1, but I also think that Saw 2 was pretty damn good. To me, those two are the best in the series and everything else is just really ridiculous. Now it just seems like they're making Saw movies for the cash, not the story plotline. To me, every movie after Saw 2 just made the storyline a complete mess.
:/
The main reason I like the movies are the traps and puzzles. It's fun to insert yourself in those situations. I find myself more and more thinking 'Yeah...I'd just let them die...' I mean, if they did free them from the trap they'd have some sort of gruesome injury such as a broken leg or gaping sucking chest wound. I would want to die after something like that xD
Yeah. It could have ended at Saw 1 and still been good. I don't think Saw 2 really had much impact on the plot and thought it was just a bit sick, though not as bad as the later ones. It wasn't as clever either.
Saw Paranormal Activity, honestly some of the worst acting Ive ever sat through in the theater. Many unfinished, underdeveloped plotpoints, none of which have anything to do with a non-existant budget. I had fun in the theater, but thats about it.
I don't understand what you mean about plot points being underdeveloped, and the acting to me didn't seem at all bad. Glad you had fun at the theater.
Spoiler:
Really as I said, just the thought of it being a demon and not being able to predict how it'll manifest each night frightens me. The way it was ultimately executed was subtle and slow-burning and I don't think an ending will do it justice.
