  • Mary and Max. Very good and sad animation. A definite recommendable watch, it moved me.

Next I will see is the famous "Life of Brian". Yes, I've never seen it.

    I admire your courage.

Love this thread, I'm spending my time here lately because the work I am doing at the moment requires a lot of time dragging, and movies are quite excellent at that.

On the plus side, it's 70 minutes long and I laughed so hard I believe I passed out. It doesn't take itself even remotely seriously, and did a much funnier job of it than Zombie Strippers did.

      Other highlights include;

      - The same 'bonk' noise used everytime a zombie gets smacked on the head, regardless of what they're actually hitting them with. Count them all!
      - The strippers running over an old guy on the off chance he might be a zombie. Apparently, it was hard to tell if he was dead or not before the outbreak...
      - The scariest midget in the world.
      - It's in 3D too. Old, red and green 3D at that!

Still, it is utterly hilarious if you fancy something to amuse yourself.
Ok now I must see this movie! sounds like a total riot! Reminds me of this other japanese zombie film I watched which involved a lesbian scene and a crazy zombie teacher that would decapitate the living with a couple of meter rulers he carried around like swords. I think it was called something like japanese school girl swim team vs zombie ninjas or somthing else along those toally ridiculous lines.

Talking about terrible movies has anyone else seen ten million B.C.? its terrible and not even terrible in a funny way just a completely cringy why the hell would any one make this kind of way.

      • I have discovered a youtube video of Bit Tits Zombies (hey, I get things wrong) and decided to share it with you. Please note - this is a movie about zombies and strippers. It's not safe for work. It's also not safe for anyone under the age of 782, but that's another deal entirely.

Now I'm mad at you, Oscars. T_T

That was quite the story. Was a bit shitty watching it in the cinema, though. A lot of people didn't like the mood of the movie and desperately tried to suppress any and all emotional reaction they had to it.
No wonder people are increasingly watching more dumb films in the last couple of years.

          • ^Unfortunately the film picked too early and the studio didn't really pushed it.

              Funny film, but nothing special.

                • Due Date.

Definitely funny film. Not as good as The Hangover, but I really enjoyed it. The Robert Downey Jr. sarcastic/intelligent character was a good combination with Zach Galifianakis' comedy.

Pan's Labyrinth is a fairy tale. And true fairy tales are usually dark.

I understand why you would think it was too dark, though. Since most people are of the idea that the film is of the same genre as Narnia/Harry Potter or the Disney Fairy Tales flicks. Nope. Its not for kids.

                        • Grabbed the whole 20th Century Boys trilogy on DVD (based on a manga by the same name. By Naoki Urasawa, the author of stuff like Monster and Pluto).

Just saw the first two and putting on the 3rd now... quite possibly some of the most awesomely insane stuff I've seen in a while (as expected). Starting to feel a bit bad about never really giving the manga much attention (probably gonna buy a full set now)

                          • My friend Will, who owns a manga shop, constantly orders me to buy 20th Century Boys. It's the only manga he himself has read in months, since he's a touch burned out right now.

Great film! Very strong, real life story about a sister and her struggle to release her innocent brother from jail.
