  • Click to view Someone at the Brand Licensing Expo Europe 2008 managed to catch this cam footage of somewhat less-than-eagerly anticipated film adaptation of the popular manga/anime/video game series Dragon Ball. As was expected, it looks relatively hideous, from Chow Yun-Fat's hideous costume to James Marsters…

    Huh?

    • Oh f**k, they're gonna remake [REC] as 'Quarantine' ...:

For the ones that doesn't know, [REC] is a great spanish movie about some people that were contained in an apartament building due an unknown outbreak... and now some smartass is gonna remake it... I hope they doesn't screw it up, I really like the original...

Here the link to the oficial page of the remake: http://www.containthetruth.com/

      • ^ I definitely prefer the name 'Quarantine' to [REC], no matter how original it may be.

          • I saw the trailer for Quarantine quite a few months back... looked alright.

I watched Pulp Fiction and Rendition last night.

Rendition was really confusing, I didn't see how the love affair between those two Indian people affected the story in any way, but Reese Witherspoon, Meryl Streep, and Jake Gyllenhaal gave really good performances.

Pulp Fiction, on the other hand, made it into my top ten movies of all time Fantastic movie, really funny! I love it at the end how they walk out of the diner all cool and shit, wearing the dorky clothes

Also saw Eagle Eye a couple of days ago. The computer reminded me of Glados from Portal Great action flick too.

            • I'm watching Starship Troopers as I type(the original, not the terrible sequel...didn't see the 3rd).

This is such a cheesy movie, but at the same time, it has some really great qualities.

              • The original was decent, since it took what the book did and then sprinkled it liberally with the cutting wit of Paul Verhoeven. When you take something that could already be seen as cynical, and then add Verhoeven to the mix, it's the perfect combination. The man's a genius when it comes to satire - and blood, lots and lots of blood. But that's not all he's known for.

One of these days I really need to get round to watching Soldier of Orange.

I heard that movie's ending was a big Rock Band commercial.

                  • I can't remember, but the dude gives the chick's kids some presents. I can't remember what the presents were, so it mustn't have been much of a commercial.

                        • Heres the trailer for it - http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=yXHbotv1NqQ&fmt=18

And that's kind of it, imagine the trailer stretched over 2 hours 20 minutes and you've kinda got the film. Should you actually want to see it (i don't know why you would though) you'd need to find it on torrents, the guy doesn't release his movies on DVD or anything so finding them online is the only way to see them. Strange but after watching this i can understand why, no one would buy them!
