Well, I'am not a spesialist but I think it is a good offer. laptop looks good to me and the prise is not that big.

If it's in a Harvey Norman catalogue, it's not a good deal. No matter what.
I bought a Laptop last June. Was then pretty decent.
Core2 Duo 1.86 GHz, 1GB RAM, Standard graphics chip (shitty onboard thing), 80gb HDD (only), DVD + RW, Wireless network card. 15.4".

Anyways, Harvey Norman was $1100, Dick smith was $999, and then it had $100 back from Toshiba, and then I claimed the GST back on it, so all up it was $800.
But anyways, that was all 12 months ago. I dunno the scenario now.

In short, don't buy off Harvey Norman, and shop around. See what deals are going 'round.
