One could argue that spelling words in new ways is not so awesome. Besides, we have a lot of teenagers here and they are respectful of other board members and have integrated themselves well into the community.

I know i do it, spell words in new ways, but mainly because of the fact i spend a lot of my free time on the internet so im constantly picking up on it.
I do however hate that I do it because I know it's not right and others may not understand, grr

I was a teenager myself not too long ago and I'm pretty sure I understood proper spelling and grammar. If you're so "sophisticated" try not making posts like "lolz ima plsaying re4 and this monters comin st me!!1". Believe it or not, this makes you look very stupid.

I've been kicking around the net since I was thirteen or so. Half the reason for it was to improve my typing. So I've pretty much always written like this, only more formal and slower to start with.

i blame texting.. people abbreviate so much. i just don't capitalize, other than that i think i'm fine.

I started posting on the Bioflames forums when I was 13 and I've always tried to post with proper punctuation. My grammar might have been off a bit sometimes, but that's because I'm not a native English speaker. D:

Anyway, not capitalizing your sentences (if your posts even have any) doesn't really bother me much, but at least try to use proper punctuation.

I always try to use proper grammar, even when texting. My friends laugh at me when I take the time to spell out a 15 letter word that could be abbreviated in 3.

first of i would never leave a post like that, and i havent yet, thank god, and im sure that plenty of people use the word lol its just natural these days even without texting
