It's only about an hour and a half drive from where I live, so how could I not?
It was about as close to a "Silent Hill" experience that I would ever get. And spending 8 hours there with nothing but a flashlight and camera was worth every penny.
We had a group of 10 the first time I went and 13 on my birthday this month. We are planning on going again in July haha. That place is definitely haunted, theres no doubt about it.

I've run into ghosts twice. Once I was sleeping in an old castle as part of a school trip with about eight folk. Woke up because it was colder than a nudist nuts in Alaska and could see a blurry woman standing by the window. Stared at her for a while then went back to sleep.
Second time I was in a dead house, middle of summer, no wind in the sky. Me and some friends were there and suddenly every damned door in the house slammed shut...including the one in the room we were in being held open by a rock the size of my head. Took us half an hour to pry about foor doors open again to get out.
Fun times.
But that is cool Leech. You got some nice photos.

Well, I recall when I was younger living in Louisiana, Fort Polk BTW, I remember waking up in the middle of the night to see what appeared to be a strange white figure which appeared to be a man who looked like he was in the civil war or something. I believe I recall him looking at me then I tucked my head under the covers and looked back and he had dissapered. Could have been my imagination but who knows.

Me and a couple of my friends were once visiting abadoned collector located in a gully just to have fun. It was known that a lot of bad acts happened in that gully including murders but we whent there in a day. When we entered this collector this cold and dark place it was clear that it was a bad idea, we could literally feel the evil of that place. And than after some time we all felt it, we all felt a presense of something rite near us, it was like there was something standing rite among us that we cant see... Than we ran out. I'll never forget that and sinse than I dont visit such a plases and dont look for paranormal shit. I've had enough."Barry never vanished from the series. It was the series that vanished from Barry. He's inside all of us. " (C) Smiley

This topic is very interesting. Yes, I already had a paranormal experience, the first: I saw my dead grandmother in an empty pool that I have on my parents farm house, there was a woman that helped my mother with the house maintenance and she said she saw my grandmother as well.
After that I began to sleep on the bedroom that she died of cancer just to put the fear away, and I did it. There is nothing better than face your fears. Today I still see her walking through the house but I’m used to it.
And one more thing, I’m not crazy.

I think I saw a female ghost in church once I was in the church's car park where they used to have a library truck and when I was walking past I saw a female figure at the top window of the church.Last edited by kevstah2004; 06-20-2008, 09:08 AM.If he had a brain, he'd be dangerous.

Glad to know my group of friends aren't the only ones visiting haunted places in the US for fun. I've been to an abandoned mental hospital in Manteno, IL. It was pretty fun since we we first tried to access the place underground which felt claustrophobic. Once we reached the top it we saw the various tubs, beds, and rooms that were used when it was opened. The I visited Moody's Light which is located in Indiana. That was pretty awesome since we actually saw the orb. It would move in an insane pattern and it turned bright red when we started to curse at it. We also saw an apparition hanging from a tree that day. I've also been to two graveyards. One in Indiana close to Moody's Light, where two lovers seem to roam the site. The other was Bachelor's Grove in which is really close to where I live. Apparently it the most haunted place in Chicago and one of the most worldwide (which I think is BS). But there was orbs in almost every picture and you can also make out figures in them too.
Oh and every time we go somewhere, my friends and I meet some really cool people.
