Nice to see another Trabi owner. I used to have one too, did most of the maintenance/repair myself.

As for what car I drive:

Our family car is a 2005 Lancia Thesis. Very comfortable but with a huge appetite. I only drive it on longer trips.
Then there's my 2001 Land Rover Defender. Started leaking oil not too long ago but I still wouldn't trade it for any other car.

None of my own in the UK. I will in the future after I buy some more important things first.

In Taiwan I took advantage of the cheap taxis as I could go to work and back for about $15 USD a day. Saved me a lot of trouble investing in a car and learning how Chinese people drive (on the other side of the road too), I didn't want to risk my life on a scooter either, they're death traps over there..
