I'm on a lucky streak lately. I started a intership with the lawyer of my city's city council. I do nothing almost all afternoon, get the obligatory hours that I need for college and a 500 bucks salary. And today my mom bought me a new cellphone, finally I can get rid of my 5+ years old piece of crap, the screen didn't even have colors ffs. It's been a great week.

I am fucking happy. You can tell, because I post in this thread about once a year. The reason: (I'm going to tell you the whole story just because I'm glad to be typing on a working computer again). A couple of weeks ago I got the infamous "System security 2009" virus, or something like that. Basically it forces a fake anti-virus software program onto your desktop, stops you from being able to use system restore, and in some cases (like mine) will even stop you from booting up in safe mode. It also has a random sound effect of a pig squealing that scares the shit out of you.

After doing some research, I found that all you have to do is right click on the fake anti-virus icon on your desktop and go to properties, location. I wrote down the location which was hidden within a folder, in a folder, in a folder, etc. I couldn't delete it, because it was in use, by the virus. However, I could move it to my desktop. This keeps the virus from being able to load when you reboot, and then I was finally free to cast it into the hellish flames of the recycling bin. Whew.

Things where finally getting back on track, when two days later I was lucky enough to get: The black screen of death. Son of a bitch. After trying to find an answer for several days to no avail, I finally found the only solution that would work in my case...wipe the hardrive and re-install Windows. All my scripts, all my data, GONE. All because I was too lazy to make a backup. Anyways, as long as my computer was in working order I didn't care less at the moment. So, I boot up the computer and shazaam! Everything works fine, bar a very desolate desktop.

That is of course, until I realize that there's no internet. After another few days of searching around on a friends computer I realized I had to go to the Toshiba site, enter in the model no. and re-download the Wireless internet drivers. I put them on a USB, transferred to my computer and finally.......I am free.

I said thank you to Akira and he said "My pleasure!" in response via Twitter. I hope his hand or arm aren't hurting after signing the amount of stuff he has.

Though I wish they would put the art book up for international order (not like I couldn't get it from the Japanese store... *lazy*).

It's fine. The autograph isn't that bad regardless of the ink blotches. I'm very happy she signed my copy for me. Thanks again Lisle!

Well I heard you got an autograph yourself worth talking about. Something brand new as a matter of fact. I think I'll leave it to you to post a picture of.

Sound's like he needs a good dose of Cruel Punishment for that Bad Habit!

    Not too shabby eh?

Meeting Quinton Flynn with my brother and having our copies of MGS2 signed was great as well.

My brother is taking the last day of the con to see if Lisle will sign a copy of Tekken 5 as well.

Smiley got Lisle Wilkerson to sign Tekken 4 for me, which is awesome as she's my favorite voice for my favorite Tekken character, Nina Williams!!

She made it out personally to me and she also signed the inside of the manual and wrote down the piece she did on the cover again in the manual but in Japanese.

I was really disappointed to not hear her voice Nina in Death By Degrees.

Nothing beats a good English baguette after a trip back home from friends. Not only that but my old computer has been set-up at my friends with the projector and printer I got from work for us to enjoy. Finally have a four man team at last! Oh, and finally have my 40,000 pound in my savings account <3

Nightmare Syndrome arrived finally, they threw in a couple of extras like a promo piece for Black Rock Shooter and a Dead Rising 2 promo booklet.

I can probably palm the BRS bit off to a friend of mine since he's collecting stuff for that.

    It has -

    House of the Dead
Clock Tower - The First Fear - (features a personal character in it which ruins things a great deal. Especially as said character interrupts a plot point).
    Twilight Syndrome Omen ~ Investigations
    Clock Tower 2
    Moonlight Syndrome
    Twilight Syndrome Omen ~ Investigations
    Torico
    Clock Tower 2
Clock Tower - The First Fear -

The other comics aside from the first CT comic are great.

I'll scan it all in sometime (possibly later today or tomorrow after work) and translate it later (well, edit the scans I mean).

I'm also waiting for my Shadows of the Damned soundtrack to arrive too!
