Starship Troopers 3??

Heard they brought the lead guy back from ST1 to star in 3, must be hard up for cash, not heard anything about this movie whatsoever though, is it actually out?

They've got a release date slated for August 5th.

The trailer looks bad..Starship Troopers 1 looked great in the CG department. It even holds up today. The CG in 3 looks terrible. The animations on that drop ship alone were just amateur. That said, I don't even think good CG would help this film.

ahaha I love the replies, i personally think it will be better then the second movie, but no where near the first one.

It will be better than the second movie but after the reviews I've read I don't really want to see either 2 or 3. I heard 3 goes more into the political aspects of the war on the bugs and tries to compare it to the Iraq situation which for me is a total turnoff. I did just pre-order ST1 (US version) on blu-ray though, the extras look pretty sweet especially the BD live stuff.

Maybe some people will be better without watching the 2nd and 3rd movie, and i'm one of that people. =(
