Would you stop being so fucking negative? Every post I've read of yours recently has been nothing but complaints or worries. It's wearing really thin - if you don't care about the series, just don't post!

Excuse me for expressing an opinion Seriously, i saw about 3 buses with that poster on the side in a day and it really bugged me, such a cheap and obvious tactic to raise hype. This is the poster btw - http://img293.imageshack.us/img293/4999/img01791le8.jpg

"You won't believe how it ends".

Obviously written by someone who hasn't seen the other Saw movies... If there's no twisted ending being explained by stuff that was said or done in the movie then it's not a Saw movie.

if saw was set to be a six movie series. why'd they say "you won't believe how it ends"

          that's like saying it's in conclusion :/

The first one was good, but the series just got progressively worse. Its just gore for gore sake now, which I don't like. I saw (hur hur) 2, which was okay, and then 3 which was just awful. I abandoned the series after that.

I thought Saw III was pretty good, I don't understand why people felt it was unneeded or unecessary. It wrapped up the Jigsaw storylline perfectly and I would've been happy if the series ended there.

Saw IV surprised me in that it was still pretty interesting and the story was woven into the existing canon very well - almost more perfectly than I've seen in a series before.

Saw V will probably either give me faith in the series or totally turn me off. If the storyline and the "twists" are good enough, I'll come back for Saw VI, which is being made already >_> If not, I'll leave the series all together. I am really interested to see where they take Saw V because honestly there's only so much you can do from the grave =/

Not unless you had things already in motion before you died in anticipation for your death? A copy-cat serial killer perhaps that was trained by Jig Saw to think like Jig Saw; another survivor of Jig Saw's traps and the better of his deciples who took his principles to heart and wasn't a bitch and actually made their traps survivable...

                    About the SAW game thing...

I kinda hope it'll play like a mix of Trauma Center and The Incredible Machine .
That way, it might actually be an interesting game in general and also be worth a look for those who just couldn't give a rats ass about the franchise in general.

I dig the Saw series in a sort of soap opera way. I like it from the perspective of the characters, how they react, their motivations etc. Where will it go next? I guess I sort of buy into the whole "You won't believe how it ends" thing.

Now the argument of it being gore for gore's sake is flimsy to me, because these traps in the subsequent films aren't staged well at all. The first film was effective because the torture was drawn out in a more blunt expository way. If you see the sequels, the traps have all these weird cuts, flashes, and frenetic edits. The gore itself is quickly shown from what I remember.

Gore for gore's sake is not the way I like to enjoy my movies. More techincally, I don't like any gore above the neck. I don't think anyone has a phobia quite like mine Should I name it?

I know the ending to the movie. The movie is out right now in one of the countries. If anyone doesn't mind be spoiled, send me a PM and I'll tell you the ending.

I never saw (pun intended) II, III, or IV.

Cary Elwes' acting in "Saw I" made me cringe more than any gore.
