I'm new, although I've made this account a long time ago, I just decided to visit more randomly (in search of new RE boards to go to)... >_>

No, seriously though, I found this site through Borman years ago, and was reminded of it through his site just today. I read up on the 1.5 debacle and thought I'd sign up to comment. I'm a fan of the RE series, but I'm not what you'd call well educated on it, in that I don't know every little piece of trivia. I just enjoy the games, y'know?

Seriously though, I'm having a hard time figuring out how to approach it. Even when reviewing something sans rose colored glasses, it's actually hard to separate yourself from your nostalgia. Not to mention I'm trying to figure out whether I want to review these old games with today's standards in mind, or do I want to be fair to them and only hold them up to other games from their respective time-periods.

Anyway man, I'll figure that out later. And this isn't the place for it, so...yeah.
