Its a choose your own adventure. They were kinda popular on gamefaqs but they frowned on those and RPGs because... anyways but yeah basically a CYOA is like an RPG only the author writes the story and at a stopping point in the post the author posts several choices (normally 2 or 3) that is left up to the audience to decide where the story is headed next. I'm fantastic at these types of things, unfortunately some silent mod spammer wiped out everything remotely considered off topic on the RE5 gfaqs boards hence the migration here.
