How many hours a week do YOU play video games?

as i was watching SNL tonight for weekend update i saw a commercial for Dr phil about video game addiction. one person clocked in at about 80 hours a week and i thought thats a bit accessive.

I play for about 10 hours a week if im lucky enough not to be working on my comic or on GF TV.

how many hours do you guys game?

Oh, God...I play too much.

Probably like 3-5 hours a day during the week, then like 5-7 hours during the weekend.

Probably only 15 hours a week. I'm a full time dad with a bunch of hobbies, like Warhammer and RPing on top of my gaming so I don't play huge amounts. I may play more if have some new games, but with adult and horror ones I'm limited to playing in the evening.

Hmm thats a hard one,maybe 12-18 hours a week. But it depends,things like exams mean less (hopefully ).

Depends if theres a new game or not, 2 weeks ago I clocked only 2-3 hours, last week I clocked about 25 as I bought Yakuza 2, and Fable II is out on friday so no doubt i'll be playing that for a long while in my free time also.

Maybe about 10 hours a week for me. I prefer browsing the internets more, but with November coming and a shitload of games being released, I'll be gaming every night it seems.

I usually try to find times during the days to play games, its just a shame I can't play as much as I used too *remembers the days when he had time to clock 200+ hours on Final Fantasy Titles*

Comes and goes in waves. Depending on work load, type of work and whether or not there have been any releases around worth playing.


So basically anything from being able to clock up to a solid 100 hours a week (That's game-eat-sleep for ya!) to sometimes going dry with only the latest news and headlines being the closest I am to gaming for a good couple of weeks.

well for me i don't play morethan ten because i spend a half hour a day on FFXI online and the rest on playing older games like KH2 and disgaea.

5 hours, but on summer it raises to like... 20 or maybe even 24, hahaha

Depends on what game would bring up my interest and what time I have (some days I spend reading or going to the gym, but gaming will always be my prime hobby and weapon of choice ) in the week. Will be sacrificing my time for Fable 2 though once it's released, and dead space too.

I have a feeling something similar will happen with me and the release of Fallout 3.
