I'd say it depends on your CPU choice and such. I went with a DDR2 board, with 1333 max memory. Working ace so far, since I have no plans of overclocking.
You should be aware about that boards raid setup though. If its anything like mine (same chipset), You can only have raid on or off on all drives. I ended up having to have vista create a raid drive (quite a nice feature, I must say).
