But if you look at the bigger picture, its everywhere that way. The times when people were debating and arguing to find a solution or an answer to a problem are long gone, thanks to CAPCOM.
Personally, I enjoy an argument which results in a an answer or a solution. The most inspiring for me were in BF2 forums, where, along with a few savvy and talented folks, we "fixed" a lot of conceptual and design flaws. Sadly devs never took the advice.
Nowadays its always a confrontation of opinions and while very entertaining, they dont lead anywhere.

Crystal Dynamics is a good company because they sneak around the Tomb Raider forums and look at people's suggestions and complaints. It's been officially announced by some CD staff that are members of the TR boards that the players create more of the games through their ideas than it seems. CD is also now releasing a patch to fix some of the flaws in Underworld by trolling through the official 'glitches' list on the TR Underworld board and trying to recreate/fix what was wrong.
Good going, CD. Now if only Capcom would start patrolling the THIA boards we may get somewhere...
