If I was to totally exclude PC gaming... I don't think I'd even ask myself what I wanted to do with the machine. I'd just grab a Mac, instantly.
(Besides, usually, the biggest and most popular titles have Mac ports. Something that also applies to a lot of the software people ofte only associate with Windows)
Besides, if you get a more recent model, setting them up to dual boot shouldn't be much of a problem (So you can have both XP/Vista and OS X on it), so then you've got your potential PC needs covered there anyway.
There might be a bit of a transition period for you if you've never used OS X before, though. As there are a few things that you'll basically have to re-learn, but since the overall interface is pretty similar it shouldn't take long.Last edited by Carnivol; 01-04-2009, 03:23 PM.
