I honestly believe youre not even 16.

    dulce bellum inexpertis

Theres going to be a war, no doubt about it. As for European way of life, UK and Australia have surpassed USA on the "who are the fattest people" marathon.

Yeah! We'll die at the ripe ol' age of 20 from a heart attack while you die at the ripe ol' age of 20 from friendly fire or a bomb.

Wall-E's future please. I'm a coward and hate fighting.

        Wall-E's future for me too.

I'd rather have pleasant future (even if that means all people get fat and lazy) than a future full of war and soldiers that are fighting just for the sake of fighting.

Also, life isn't a video game; on a battlefield you don't have FAS that can heal every wound, you don't have save points and possibility to continue in case someone kill you.

Let's see..... war = death, unhappiness fat= who the hell cares if everyone else is going to look that way too? I'd rather be fat, happy, and oblivious. Also....Wall-E was adorable.

People think fighting is so wonderful...and though fighting for one's country is honorable, pretty sure no one would be happy living a life constantly killing others to survive. And look at the MGS world...people were fighting wars just to fight them, not because they had any real reason to.

There's a big difference fighting for money, though, and fighting for your country. Even when it does something nasty, immoral and borderline illegal (Iraq) at least you're still there defending your way of life and your country, regardless of what the higher ups intend.

Yeah, you still got shot at regardless of your reason for fighting, but at least one is noble and I think that helps some people get through these conflicts.

Another point I'd like to add, though, for those thinking eternal war might be fun...the mental damage you will suffer. Remember what happened to the folk on MGS4 when things went bad? Whole armies suffering serious mental problems.

You might wanna read some of the first hand accounts from World War 1 as well. War suddenly looks a lot less glamarous when one of the potential deaths, and not even a terribly uncommon one, is to be eaten alive by rats as you await treatment. There were simply too many wounded and not enough people to keep the rats away, especially in more distant areas...

My grandfater said that without war people will become too lazy etc. He took part in three wars... finnish civil war, winter war and continuation war.

Proxy war future for me... thank you.

                            Insult? Seems like it...

Either way, yeah, I'm not bothered which future we get, neither really gives me a purpose to be there.
Sitting doing nothing, or fighting in a war I don't want?
                            Life would be pointless, then.

No...Whats the point in having money when the world is in a war?
Theres no point, really, everything you'd be interested in buying would be gone.
And money does not bring happiness.
