  • Your worst cinema experiences

Has anyone ever annoyed you in the cinema by:

    - putting their feet on your seat?
    - throwing food around the room?
    - having a really fucking annoying laugh?
    - shouting random shit out?
    - laughing at the UNfunny parts in comedies?
    - making sexual suggestions every time a man and a woman are on the screen?
    - crunching food, slurping drinks or opening packets of chips/mints/nuts really loudly?
    - talking throughout the whole movie?
    - being with a gang of friends who do nothing but giggle and murmer to each other?
    - playing with their phones through the whole duration of the movie?

The list goes on. Any of this stuff happened to you?

    My experience in Yes Man:

This man and his fat wife had the most outrageously annoying laugh, and would not stop laughing at EVERYTHING. When everyone else was trying to listen, this fuck and his whore would do nothing but eat/drink crunch/slurp loudly and laugh at every little thing. I even yelled out "SHUT UP" near the end of the movie. I didn't care if I was kicked out as the movie was practically over anyway.

On an unrelated note, this fat dude that looked like Roger Ebert with a mega-popcorn and a super-mega-drink took up two seats in the middle of the theatre. Yuck.

I know that, but people who "promote" themselves really aren't in my good books.

All The Boys Love Mandy Lane was pretty bad. Idiotic movies attract idiotic people, i guess. The cinema was pretty empty bar a few couples, and one boneheaded idiot who was sat with his girlfriend towards the back decided to yell out "COKE!" during a scene in which a character can be seen taking a line of... You guessed it. Seriously, what did he hope to achieve by yelling that? What did he want? For me to turn round and say "Haha! I see what you did there! You're a very funny guy! Let's be friends!" or something? God, what an idiot.

Best cinema experience was No Country For Old Men. Absolute silence 100% of the time...

No Country For Old Men was epic. No soundtrack made it all the more haunting.

No Country is epic as hell and there was a music track at the end of the movie. Very haunting

Anyway my worst movie experience was when I went to see The Mummy, I was 10 years old. A couple was sitting next to me and they were making out all the time, I mean come on get a room.

There's always one or two assholes at every movie. Whether it's the group of 5 pubescent teens who think they're tough and talk to the screen throughout the whole movie, or the slob who CRUNCHES POPCORN LIKE THEY'VE NEVER EATEN BEFORE...going to the movies is always an experience. An experience best had when high.

My worst experience was a long time ago, back when Star Trek: Nemesis came out. My family and I hadn't seen a movie in the theatre in a while so we decided "Eh, why not." I think I was around 9 or 10. So we're in the middle of the previews, everything's going well, looking like some good movies are coming o-- screen goes black! Lights come on. Everyone's wtf'ing.

After a few minutes the movie starts up again. Good movies, and now our feature pre-- screen's out again. Lights turn back on and the people come in to tell us that someone was faking pulling the fire alarm but they still had to follow procedure. We were all reimbursed upon leaving. I was pissed.

Then again, I don't normally watch Star Trek so I guess it wasn't too bad. Was still rather unhappy though.

People talking... people talking and talking and talking.... it's always like this in my home town....
They don't have any manners, probably they think the movie room is some kind of meeting ground, or some place to show themselves off, I don't know...

I'm always that "ssshhh" guy, and sometimes I'm very happy when someone from the staff comes and tells them to shut the fuck up.

But I think my worst experience was Madagascar 2.... I was there with my little sister, and out of nowhere, a womam sitting in the row in front of me takes a camera out of nowhere and start taking pictures of herself, her daughter and her husband... WITH FLASH!!!
Aftyer 3 or 4 pictures, some guy from the movie theather staff comes and asks her to stop... by then, I was almost blind =//

this group of collage kids were talking through the whole movie previews and everything
i figured "hey they'll shut the hell up when the movie starts"....WRONG
they kept blabbing on and on and hell they already seen the movie! the guys (there were collage chicks there 2)
was like "watch this, this parts scary,...here it comes" during the middle of the movie i just yelled at the guy
telling him to shut the fuck up
                      welllllll here comes the fight
this guy starts talking shit, big whoooo im so scared, so i just throw my drink at him

he told on me to the security
im now bannded from that movie theater
and was almost slapped with attempted assault

                      on a unrealated note:
for some reason i have this phobia of walking up the stairs in movie theaters

Mine was when I saw Resident Evil 1 in theatres. This annoying ass flammer and his two fat chick friends were directly behind me.

All I heard most of the movie was,

"Oh no she didn't.....GIRL!.....UH UN!.......BITCH, if that were me, I would not be wandering around by myself. OH GURLZ! NO SHE DIDN'T! DID SHE! OMGZ! OH HELLLLLLLZ NAW, BITCH GET YO ASS OUTTA THUR! OH SNAP SHE KICKED THAT DAWG IN THE FACE! UH UN....NO SHE DIDN'T! OH SHIT!"

Then the screams and laughing from them was retarded as well. Then add to the fact when they were getting rowdy, they kicked the back of my seat from the "jump scares". I wanted to do something, but I was like 13.
