^ I would've hurled myself over the seats and bit one of them in the face.

Easy turn around and slap them!

My worst experience...going to the cinema every week during the 80's watching rubbish films coz there was nothing much being made that was decent and a period of what seems 3 years of no sci-fi, anyone who tells you the 80's was cooel needs a slap!
Two really personal ones, this is trivial but not from where I was standing, being taken to see the Mummy by my manageress who I totally fancied, she wanted to see it but was scared of Bugs, I'm scared of snakes so I didn't want to see it on my own, thankfully there wasn't any for me to worry about though she spent half the film in my lap, lucky me. I never as a rule eat dureing a film, that annoys the crap out of me too though I shared Julia's popcorn. Somehow a rogue piece of un-popped corn landed in my tights, I don't know why but I got a bit embarassed. So as I said not that it seems that terrible but in my place it was not good.
The really bad thing was puking up watching Michael York drink "coffee" in The Spy who Shagged Me. I have a really strong stomach but we were laughing so hard at everything else but this was the straw that broke the camel's back...it was all over me, in my hand bag...everywhere. That didn't impress the client what so ever, I wasn't that fusssed about it it was having to walk out in the bright lights afterwards. My girlfriend split up with me after that..don't blame her really do you?

'ey! No mocking of Agent Cody Banks! The director is a bit of a local celeb living in hometown ;D
(Some of the movie props, along with props from other movies he's made, are on display at my local cinema )
*Has actually never seen Cody Banks*

Anyway, I'm trying to think of bad moments... Only thing I can really think of has been some minor moments of annoyance (early cellphone adopters getting calls in the middle of the movie, pre-shielding, sound/screen adjustment issues before the movies start, etc...), people kinda know how to behave around here.

I've had a few awkward moments at the cinema, though.

Like how they recently put up NausicaƤ at the local cinema. I dragged my brothers and a friend with me to watch one of the last screenings of it. The four of us + a couple sitting in the back row were the only ones there.

So, we kinda made a bit of a signal that it wouldn't come as a surprise if the people behind us were "getting it on" (and that that would be their purpose of going to a nearly empty screening they could grab the back row in).

At some point, we heard some noises from the back, but we didn't dare to turn our heads (let them enjoy their privacy), shortly after the noises were over my friend's cellphone somehow managed to get an incoming message and he has this nice audio clip playing (from a nice little weekend web flash on Something Awful) Specifically, the clip is of a guy shouting "SOUND'S LIKE YOU HAD A GREAT TIME!". Shortly after this played out loud in the cinema, the couple vanished... Can't help but wonder if we just made things really awkward for them, if they didn't like the movie or... if they just had somewhere else to be.

Suddenly we had the entire room for ourselves, though.

Most of my bad experiences were folks who brought in small children and babies to PG13 and R rated movies. They would never leave the theatre when their children were crying, and actually just ignored them.

I don't mind people looking on cell phones, but it's when they're constantly texting and chatting that's quite annoying.

The last bad experience I had was sitting next to some loud mouth in Wall-E. That movie is just so beautiful and brilliant so this guy ended up ruining the experience. Whenever something funny showed up on screen, this guy's laugh was SO loud and obxious, it actually grated my nerves.

We shouldn't even change seats because the theatre was packed. Thank goodness for Blu-Ray though, lol.
