Has to be Hulk Hogan. Anybody else watched his films as a kid? I couldn't tell the good from the bad when I was small and stupid (to an extend, I still am). Went back to watch them again recently (Santa With Muscles, Mr. Nanny, generic Hulk Hogan comedy movie no. 3 etc) and I honestly wish I hadn't. I laughed my ass off throughout all of those movies, like if you ever have an urge to laugh at some really bad movies, seriously, really bad, then you have heaps upon heaps of garbage to get through with Hogan's filmography. There is no equal anywhere.
Spencer did right on calling out Dolph Lundgren.
I also think Marky Mark is pretty damn crappy (not one of the worst ever though, and doesn't even touch the likes of Hogan, but this is just my personal opinion; he cannot act). Every time I see the guy in a movie I can't help but think of him when he was Marky Mark. He plays himself in every film I've seen him in too. Max Payne was not a great 2008 movie experience for obvious reasons. The Happening was truly terrible to the nth degree.
There's plenty more lying in the casket that I can't think of right now. Thankfully.

Originally posted by Mr. Spencer View PostCage wasn't always that way, and he's had a couple of good performances like Lord of War and The Weather Man. I wouldn't call him an amazing actor, but I wouldn't call him the worst either. My money is on Dolph Lundgren.
Originally posted by CiarenDevlin View PostWill Smith and Tom Cruise are excellent actors. Smith is just pretentious with shitty films and Cruise is fucking insane.
Even Keanu Reeves isn't bad. He's just not very adept at changing his acting style, ie, no emotion. Ever.
and ok i take Tom Cruise back, but he's still insane and weird.

Who do you think are the worst actors ever?

Most of the actors mentioned panned as bad have crutches of talent which makes them work. I'm not a huge fan of Cage, but I did like Lord of War, Snake Eyes, The Rock, Face/Off and Con-Air because his characters were fine (as opposed to the Wicker Man remake, Ghost Rider, Next, and a bajillion other films where he was annoying as crap). Because his good movies are outranked by lots of bad ones, I'd say he's a bad actor in my book - but totally not the worst ever.
Much like Keanu... he is bland but his talents are good in the Bill and Ted films because he's just far more believable and likable as an airhead (if you want to see bad airhead behavior watch Bio-Dome with Pauly Shore and Stephen Baldwin - yeech, there is some bad acting for you), Point Break is still an amazing action film and The Matrix is still good with him in it. Oh and Speed was okay. But everything else I've seen him in makes me want to smack my head into the wall.
So yeah... I think the worst actors are not always bad in every role, but they're definitely the actors that give you consistently the worst acting or stand out like a sore thumb even when you surround them with actual talent.Last edited by Rombie; 01-24-2009, 01:44 AM.

Don't dis on Bio-Dome! Tenacious D made a cameo in that movie!
Worst actor... hm, I'm going with Uwe Boll.
Seriously, acting like a tough guy who can box doesn't make you any cooler. XDLast edited by Canas Renvall; 01-24-2009, 11:06 AM.

Unfortunately their own movie sucked ass. XD
And The Rock is amazing, I love Nicolas Cage in most of his movies (I said most, not all. >_>)
Face/Off (you say bad things about John Woo, I say Hard Boiled. ...And Broken Arrow. I'm a big Christian Slater fan. )
National Treasures 1 & 2
Gone in Sixty Seconds
Next (okay, so this one was a little iffy, but I still enjoyed it)
The Rock
Bangkok Dangerous (the original foreign one was better, but this one was still really good)
Lord of War
8MM
Snake Eyes
And let's not forget that he was Brad's Bud in Fast Times at Ridgemont High.
Plus, he's gonna be Dr. Tenma in the upcoming Astro Boy movie. Kick. Ass. ...Oh, that's another movie he's gonna be in. Kick-Ass. XD
