Oh my gosh, I laughed out loud. "Sit down!"
Finally, somebody else who likes Code Veronica! How come everybody else hates it?

Nice list man. So you're doing a seperate review for Code Veronica?

Weskers Flag, the reason fans hate Code Veronica is backtracking... I think.

Oh. Well, I think it was okay, if only it wasn't so hard to kill the damn zombies. Come on, 7 bullets?!

no on the seperate review, i meant i would do a review for the game carrier, but i will have the silent hill origins review up next saturday.

i liked code veronica mostly due to it working on the dreamcast, i did not mind the backtracking but it was annoying, but enjoyable

Survivor was an interesting choice. That game deserved to be of a higher standard, since the actual story behind it wasn't all that bad. Though my own favourite would have to be Dead Aim. Maybe I'll do a list of my own one day.

I think the issue with CODE: Veronica is a combination of backtracking and, well, Alfred. He has to be one of the worst villains ever. Oh, and Steve. Worst hero in the series. Wesker's return split a lot of folk, as some like it and some think he should have stayed dead.

I really enjoyed Dead Aim. I thought the story served as a good bridge between the main storylines, and Bruce and Fong Ling were likable in their own ways.

I thought Alfred was a great villain. He had his issues...but he really was crazy. His strong connection to his sister and spending years isolated on the island to me made his madness work. Steve though...I'll agree with that. He was annoying and a bit whiney, with one of his only saving graces being his slight break down when he had to kill his zombie father. It explained why he acted the way he did, even compared to Sherry he just didn't seem to add up to the other heroes. CV was a decent game...the back tracking never bothered me at all.

Now wouldn't it be nice if Bruce McGivern later became part of the North America branch of the B.S.A.A? He has the experience with B.O.Ws. Afterall, the "Anti-Umbrella Pursuit and Investigation Team" would be more or less obsolete at this point now that Umbrella's finished.

In fact, there was even a reorganisation of USSTRATCOM on October 1, 2002. Now what took place barely a few days before? Oh yeah, Dead Aim. There's a lengthy article pertaining to the game on Project Umbrella, it's a must read if you're interested in Dead Aim.

Is it worth it to seek out Dead Aim and the Gun Survivor games? To be honest, I never even gave them a second look.

                        Dead Aim is fantastic.
Survivor 1 is an exercise in frustration. DON'T play it with the gun.
Be thankful that Survivor 2 was never released in the US ;)

On the list... There are alot of things I disagree with. But they're opinions, so they're equally valid as mine.
I'm not a fan of CV, 0 or Survivor.

I thought Survivor had two good things: Music and story (Vincent Goldman's depravity is unmatched in the series)

Pretty sure I used more than that on some zombies in REmake and RE0. XD

And yeah, buy Dead Aim. Not sure if that one requires a GunCon/GunCon2, but you should definitely play it with one. It's really short, but it's very replayable. And it's almost like a blending of Silent Hill's camera angle (and even its brand of horror) with RE's gunplay. I loved the SH-esque horror (totally pitch black in some areas except for your flashlight). Once you go through the sewers and the... train tunnels, I think? Once you go through those, you'll know what I mean. Watch for the creepy eyes in the dark.

I got my copy of DA for $14...and it was practically band new. Person played it only once.

I always felt that if Ark knew Leon somehow, then it wouldn't be totally off the mark for Bruce to know them and some of the other survivors as well. I mean he wasn't phased by the zombies or BOWs a bit. Of course some could chalk that up to simply bad game design or whatever. Bruce and Fong Ling knew what they were dealing with, so I'd say they definitely had some intel before boarding the Spencer Rain. I'll read the article soon...at the moment I've got a few things to do.
