Got this piece of shit for ten cents at a Sanity music store. Even though I had never heard of the song or the artist, and somehow knew it was rap (my least favourite genre), how could I pass up a CD for ten cents?

After listening, the songs are pretty horrible. Bad rapping, bad beatboxing.

I believe it was Thomas Jefferson who once said, "Never buy anything you do not want because it is cheap."
    See you in hell.

I found Superstar Carwash by Goo Goo Dolls really cheap, and it had its case and book in good shape.

I got 4 anime OST's for .25 cents each. And I got t.A.T.u.'s first CD for 3 dollars in Japan, not that cheap, but fun to say.

                    I love you.

Either way, I got t.A.T.u. - The Best for £5, but it had the CD AND the dvd, should have been atleast £13.

I bought the self titled second album by The Bronx for 50p from Amazon. It was new, too. Came shrink wrapped and everything.

See, that's different. That's something you would want, as opposed to something that you KNOW you won't want. If someone was selling a copy of Zone of the Enders for a few quid, I'd probably snap that up and consider it a bargain. But if I saw someone trying to flog me a CD of Britney Spears' Greatest Hits for the same price, then I wouldn't even bother.

It's the typical youth mindset today, buy cheap shit you don't really need, then chuck it out and buy more cheap shit. If there's one thing we need to do as a society, it's to discourage such blind consumerism in the younger generations.
