Yeah, there's that post. But if you read it properly, I am implying that BSAA Jill as a weak character in Mercs would probably "incite" Jill fanatics more than the ridiculous nature of their rage at her hair color.

You know why I didn't recall that post - because my statement isn't saying that I am trying to incite people...just that every little detail about her "incites" the Jill fanatics. I mean, if her hair color or clothing or what have you is driving Jill fans into "emotional" (your choice of words for your questionable posts) tirades, then Jill being a poor character in Mercs would probably drive them to suicide or something. I don't see how my suggestion of such an overreaction is a "reportable" offense? But I guess in your eyes I am not allowed an opinion.

How come everyone else in that thread (following that comment) and the moderators who evaluated your "reporting" of it, never had an issue with my comment? Because they read it for its face value, not with some preconceived notion in their minds like you have for every one of my comments.

And why don't you help yourself and go look at the all the posts in the Jil thread from page 58 forward, and compare my posts to your own. Tell me whose posts are coherent, rational, and intelligent (not to toot my own horn or anything) - it sure as hell aren't yours.

Look at how many people disagree with you in that thread. I enjoyed going back through the thread, as it was hilarious to see how many people ripped you apart in that thread. I again assert that you cannot handle disagreements.

But feel free to keep spinning me as the bad guy. Your motive in this thread is becoming clearer and clearer and you are the one that is looking petty, not me (which is what your goal is in this thread I believe).

I actually had no idea you even reported that post until I saw it mentioned by Alzaire in his response to you. I got a good laugh at your pettiness.

Hahaha. How often do you put your foot in your own mouth? I guess teasing the Jill fanatics (even though I just proved that was not my intention, but even if it was for argument's sake) is far more "hostile" than labeling a majority of the people on this site as "uncivilized" and not "true fans" as you did in your initial post?!

Right. I've offered to completely ignore your posts, and tried to close this thread since it offers nothing but a chance to perpetuate pointless arguing. But I am the bad guy. Beelzebub. Satan. Bea Arthur.

YOU on the other hand, have pretty much ignored everyone else's posts (all suggesting you stop whining, for the most part) and continued to take potshots at me because you have to get the last word in edgewise.

Yet I am not allowed to defend myself? Or show how your own posts indict you? Because it's so easy to quote you, since you are your own worst enemy.

But I stand by my word...if it truly bothers you, I will not even acknowledge your posts outside this thread.

EDIT: I feel ashamed having wasted precious moments of my life participating in this thread. If you want to rip me apart, get in the last word, or just continue the pity party in general, go for it. This thread is fucking pointless, and I feel dirty having posted in it. I feel like Ace Ventura after he realized that Finkle is Einhorn. So, as Excella would say, "Enjoy." I am outta here.

Come on. Why would you say something (no matter what it is) if you think it would incite people even more? Because you want everyone to get along? I never minded anything about your posts other than PERSONAL ATTACKS, remarks, namecalling, etc., and comments on POSTERS rather than posts. Sure I did some of that too, but I was provoked more than once. It was foolish of me to take the bait. However, I was never the first to start bashing members of this forum. And I really doubt you would say all that in my face. If that's your way to talk to people, then I feel bad for even trying to reason with you.

Not to interject here or anything, but wasn't this topic your supposed 'farewell' to THIA? I thought you weren't gonna be posting here that often anymore. I don't care either way, but I just find it ironic how you say you're not gonna post as often, and now you're posting more than ever.

Right, I should apologize to Alexia Ashford. I was way too harsh I think, and while I don't really know her I'm fairly certain she was promoted to moderator for a good reason. The fact that she made some good points and pretty much vindicated herself to me in a private message instead of here publicly pretty much proves my argument wrong that she's looking out for her own "public perception", and that's respectable. Anyway, my post was pretty harsh and presumptious, since I'm sure all you were trying to do was keep a topic from derailing, so sorry about that.

That's a reading comprehension issue on your part, Rakkoon. He was saying how he feared Capcom's decision to make Jill weaker in mercs was going to make fanatics mad at Capcom, not him. And are you that self absorbed that you take some kind of strange personal offense to the general term "Jill fanatic" even when it's not referring to you specifically? How can you claim you're not one then?
