I mean look at humanity.
We are obsessed with porn and pixels
We fight senselessly
We murder for thrill
We find violence ammusing
We are constantly coming up with new ways to anihilate ourselfs
Some humans are SO territorial that they will beat someone to the brink of extinction just for looking at them wrong
Which brings up another subject,i was out on the highway yesterday with a friend,there was a car wreck on a road below and we got off to go see what happened,there were alot of people there,but they wernt helping..they were looking at the guy in the car who had his arm severed by the accident.
sometimes i wonder why we call ourselfs civilized.

my current thoughts lead me to doubt my soul's existance..
considering this is what i want to do in order
1:Kill about twenty iranian soldiers with a artillery bombardment
2:slowly crush a north korean tanker under his own tank's treads
3:make out with my girlfriend for a hour
4:launch a AT4 into a nursing home
5:Burn down a nursing home from the inside out with a flamethrower
6:hunt down and kill paris hilton
7:remove paris hilton's head and hoist it up a flagpole
8:make out with my girlfriend for a hour
9:murder my family
10:murder my extended family
11:nuke all of florida,prefribly with Tsar Bomba's
12:destroy a shopping mall from the inside using a M1a1
13:cause a zombie apocalypse
14:cause another one if humanity survives the first one.

and this is on a GOOD day..

That's not showing a lack of souls, though. If a person is dark then there soul is dark too, but it doesn't mean that it doesn't exist.

Yeah, I believe in souls. There are several reasons for this. For example, if we were just overly smart animals we wouldn't do most of the crap we do. Animals are concerned with survial, pretty much. Unless they're close to someone they wouldn't run into a house fire and drag them out. A dog might save it's owner, or pack leader, but it wouldn't run into random Mc Joes to do it. And yet humans do. Every day, every hour someone will put there life on the line for someone they've never met. Clearly there is something more to humans than opposable thumbs and a slighty upped IQ.

Secondly, ghosts. Yes, I am a scientist. And yes, I believe in ghosts. Why? I've run intlo them. I've seen ghosts, seen them do things, with my own eyes. So I believe in them. And therefore I believe in souls.

Third, and for now finally, the idea of a soul gives me hope. One day I'll die. If I have a soul I continue on, in some form. Maybe I get reincarnated. Maybe I go to heaven. Maybe I just move onto another world. But I continue. If there's no such thing as a soul then when I die, I cease. I'll never be with my wife and my children again. And no, that's in no way evidence. That's pure hope. But it's part of why I believe.

People do terrible things. The one I always think of is a Palestinian father who injured his own child, loaded the poor kid onto a stretcher filled with explosives and wheels him into an Israeli hospital to explode, all the while being happy in the knowledge that he was doing what was right. When do people get that fucked up?

But for thousands of years, all across the world, every tribe and every nation, independant of each other, all alone, came to the conclusion that we had some invisible thing inside of us that lived on after us. Maybe the ancients knew something we didn't.

i get that alot..
but i have games to force my intents through like a filter..leaving quite frankly..just the good ones or mild ones(like tortureing bugs <.<)

Just because she's like that too, doesn't make it normal or right.
Even if you have violent video games as an outlet for whatever it is that makes you feel this way, it doesn't address the cause of the problem.
