Ive noticed that recently, I don't even really go on you-tube anymore...it seems tragic to not even be able to find content im interested in so I can find an album I want to go purchase or something like that.

Carnivol, funny you should mention the radio, because my video didn't have any sound. Desmume doesn't record it for some reason.

Anyway, yeah, I just find it kinda ironic.

Some companies delete any trailers for their upcoming game that appear on Youtube because a certain website has the exclusive rights to show it, or because they want it to be watched on their website.

Darkmoon, I acknowledge the laws, but I think making Youtube strict is a waste of time. In this day and age everything can be gotten on the internet for free. If a person wants to hear a song and the listen to it on Youtube, they might buy the song or album. If they Pirate it to hear the song, then they will never buy the album.

That kind of thinking isn't right. It's like you were asking "Why bother locking your front door? If someone wants to rob you, he will eventually find a way into your house."

True plus i just found out something. Lets say that a robber came to your house. If you harm the robber in anyway, he can sue you (if he has a really good lawyer) even though he is in your proporty. What has this world gone to? Now we can't even protect our houses!

I'd take a shot in the dark and say you recorded and uploaded footage from the leaked version of GTA right? And the footage was uploaded before the actual release date?

That's an old thing. It's probably lawyers playing with loopholes. If you can manage to discard all the proof that the burglar broke into a home illegally, he can sue for injury since it happened on someone's property. And most burglars are probably total assholes anyway so I can see them trying to abuse the system. It's also possible an injury happens and the land owner claims the injured was an intruder.

Then again, you get trials of cops being shot dead for entering without a permit and the murderer walks free, nevermind he had an illegal gun and shot it on police officers instead of surrendering like you're supposed to by law and common sense.

I used to download just to try out, but youtube and myspace have thankfully made that pointless. I say 3 or 4 sample songs is more than enough to know if you like an artist or not. I'm sure it saves record companies some money, because promoting an artist costs alot in printing, photography, etc, lots of things that are nice but have nothing to do with the music itself. And the worst, paying radio stations to play your chosen song.

Maybe so. Maybe it is a pointless battle. But right and wrong aren't determined by can and cannot, I'm afraid. So keep trying they should. If you're afraid to loose then don't play the game. And as I said, I think the biggest point to it all is that in the end of the day they aren't getting there asses sued off.

Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.

If this video is taken off YouTube, THEN I'll be upset.
