best concert

One that comes to mind is The Sex Pistols concert I went last summer, it was sick. Also I enjoyed the Guns & Roses concert back in 2006, I never really liked them before.

Pretty much any Dave Matthews concert I've been to. Always a freakin' great time.

Australian group The living end are all sorts of awesome live.
Check out the guitar chops! And the double-bassist and drummer are very talented. I've seen them 4 or 5 times over the years, and every time everyone has an absolute ball.

A local band, called The Vasco Era. I've probably seen them a dozen times. There's a bit of a story to my favourite time. They used to have a weekly concert on a tuesday lunchtime at uni, and once The Vasco Era were playing. We were all standing around, eating sausages and drinking beer - It's hard to really get into a concert, and then go to lecture straight afterwards. And as we were standing around, I heard them start to play one my my favourite Nirvana songs, Scentless Apprentice. Their cover totally blew me away. I think it was better then any live version I've seen of Nirvana when they played it. They put so much energy into their songs (example 1 and example 2) And this was to a group or largely dis-interested uni students there for free lunch.
I had tickets to their show the following week, which was on April 5th. So I sent them an email telling them that April 5th is the anniversary of Kurt Cobains death, and if they did scentless apprentice that night, it'd be fantastic. They did, and I went absolutely rabid. I was in my work uniform, and it got ripped, but I just didn't care, the whole show was that much awesome fun.

Damn that sounds awesome. I've been in a few mosh pits here and there over the years through a local club that closed down years back, called tek world. Unfortuantly, the only big "official" concerts I've been to was a free YMCA concert at a baseball stadium when I was a kid, and a Lynard Skynard concert when I was 13. Please, spare me, I know.
Also, I qoute CR29 for truth, even though I'm too lazy to really do it. I'm glad I finally found someone else who rocks out to DMB, their cool people lol.

I would say Brian Jonestown Massacre on December 3rd 2006 in NY. It was maybe the second time they performed there since their gear got stolen. They sounded focused as always, and they played a long set, approaching 3 hours, perhaps over. I will say the singer Anton spent some of that time talking and having exchanges with the audience of variable demeanor. Nonetheless they played about 30 songs, maybe more. The concert ended with a long jam descending into feedback. I've seen the band 4 times and this has to be my favorite.

The best concert I went to was CrueFest. It had Motley Crue, Sixx AM, Trapt, Papa Roach, and Buckcherry. I'm going to CrueFest 2 in September

Although I think I might be going to see Alice Cooper later in the year, and his tour will probably kick Girls Aloud's tour's ass....lolly

its cause the guys wanted attention. i seen guys start a mosh pit at a poison concert

The best concert I've been to (and I don't think any future concerts I go to will ever even come close to this) was the Play! Video Game Symphony world premiere in Chicago, Illinois.

I went with 2 friends of mine and got to see Akira Yamaoka (composer of the Silent Hill music) perform live on stage. He performed "Theme of Laura" on electric guitar, it was AMAZING.

We also had special passes that allowed us to meet with the composers at the end of the event. I met and got autographs from many video game composers including Nobuo Uematsu (Final Fantasy) Koji Kondo (Zelda and Mario) Akira, Marty O'Donnel (Halo) and many others.

It was one of the greatest experiences I've ever had. :p

I haven't been to a concert but I always wanted to go to one of Nickle Back's concert or one of Disturbed's concerts. Which ever comes first.

My first concert was about 2 years ago. I saw Meatloaf
