  • LOLWUT. Do people really take this whole "We are fighting RE Sites" seriously?

    Read from the bottom up. I've been a tech administrator at resitewars for less than five days, and I'm already getting ridiculously stupid hate mail. What gives? Does this guy see this site as a threat to this forum or what? I'm admin at V-Acts.com and staff at RESitewars, mod at various other sites. Never gotten this. Are people spying on each other's sites and finding identical user names, followed by spamming and flaming other accounts?

    Jesus fucking Christ...

      I'm actually attempting to point out to the whole community how dumb alot of them are being. And I'm not picking on any particular members, and don't intend to seem as though I'm trolling, I'm merely saying that this should really stop.

        Site Wars was attempting to spam the shit out of THIA because of a certain admin (ex-admin?). That takes up bandwidth, especially if they were to share the download links in the members' section forum with everyone. If I'm not mistaken, using up bandwidth costs money. It's no surprise that you got insulted for being at a website that's trying to empty the pockets of another for the stupid reason of internet revenge.

        Then again, my theory could be totally wrong. If so, disregard everything above. XD;

          Do people take this seriously?
          Yes they do, especially when they have threatened the well being of this site and its members. They came here and acted like immature brats, and were banned for it. Now, because they have nothing better to do, they constantly come here and cause trouble. Yes, we take it seriously.

              They were ignored for as long as possible. Dot and the rest of them ignored it best they could, but once it was found out that the safety of this site was in question, something had to be done. I hate that shit like this is even necessary, but it is what it is.

                Because I'm questioning why people are taking the internet this seriously? You guys treat it as a soap opera. I came to protest because I don't like my profile being flamed because I am a part of a different RE Fan site. That there is discrimination. Yes, I'm seriousl.

                    Maybe you FAILED to read the part where we said that they were not only threatening the site (which costs people money) but also the members as well. Maybe if your friends didn't act like such moronic, immature brats there wouldn't be any need to take things seriously.

                        Threatening a web site? How? As long as you, nor Dot were not breaking vBulletin's Terms of Use, the site was not in danger. And what were they going to do to the members? I know to take online threats seriously, but were they threatening the user's lives? Or internet reputations? And you're the one calling names, not them.

                          Hm....spamming is against terms of use. Harassment is against terms of use. Trying to hack accounts is against terms of use....yeah. I see no more point in trying to explain something to someone that obvious only wants to cause trouble anyway. Dot has already stated this business should be over with. I'll respect his wishes.

                              Site Wars is a waste of time, it should be shut down and banned.

                              all your doing is trying to cause trouble. and it's annoying, i mean what is the whole point of your site? spamming? i mean it doesn't look like much actual discussion goes on there does it.
