I never really liked it very much either, but I'm just saying it wouldn't be surprising at all if 5 years down the road films like The Ring or Dog Soldiers were remade.

No high hopes for this movie. Jeepers was bad try to make new "horror icon" like Jason and Michael.

Err hollywood must be stopped. Englund not Freddy, Campbell not Ash and remaking not that old movies. That just shows a lack of ingenuity. Unlike remaking a game, where if done right, they can make it more fun, in the case of REmake, but a movie is a movie, you sit there and watch it. If a movie is near perfect the first time around, even if the special effects look cheesy, recasting and reshooting the film should be banned. You can't really improve on a moving image. Short of finding the fountain of youth, grabbing the original cast and maybe reshooting.

I don't think I could sit through any of these sodding up and coming remakes. And they wonder why people are pirating, cos they make sodding shit ideas like this and no one wants to give them any money.

The day Campbell is not Ash is the day Evil Dead is dead for me.

Unfortunately, that day will eventually happen.
