Still hoping it'll be good, but seen some reviews kindly point out that the 13+ rating of the movie shows a bit too much and that the people fighting the war seems to be a bit too much on top of things for the robots to really be a threat, not to mention how it seems like the people who're currently out there l...kicking ass are soldiers and their stylists.

Oh well, hopefully these reviewers have just had a bad day or something.

I'm pissed 'cause I was expecting to see it Tuesday. Turns out it's not released over here till June 3rd. I'm anxious to see it because I'm a big Terminator fan.

I was planning to watch it today, but things came up so I couldn't. This question is for the users that has watched it, How good was it? Did it had a lot of action? Is it worth it?

I've been pumped up for this film for quite awhile, I'm going to go see an early showing in a few hours.

              Thats what I gathered aswell.

              -

I havent found a single review off IMDB to say that "this is not a Terminator movie", so my biggest fear has been thwarted.

On the other hand, people are saying how the T-600 models, with miniguns equipped, are shooting hundreds of bullets at the Resistence and are getting no kills. Anyone remembers the first two movies and those memorable "future" scenes? Humans were pushed back to night-time guerilla warfare, every time they came out of cover, a plasmacannon ripped them to pieces.

Thats whats missing. The hopelessness of the situation. I kind of figured that McG will be unable see Camerons view on the future

I doubt there'll be any T-X present in the film. It's a shame, she was my favourite Terminator. It's good they're fixing Arnie back into it for a cameo, though.

Nope, there wont. The movie is about the first appearance of T-800 model (human flesh, metal endoskeleton), so theres still a considerable time before T-1000 and T-X will appear.

I'm more interested in the sequel if the rumors about Robert Patrick coming back in human form to play a scientist are true. Did he make an appearance in salvation at all in any shape or form?

If he had a brain, he'd be dangerous.

Why would it have anything to with the T1000 that's like saying he invented himself as a cyborg.

Thought the movie was pretty awesome, to be honest. Much, much better than both Star Trek and X-Men Origins: Wolverine.

She's some hardcore shit. The most advanced Terminator imo. The advantages of the T-1000's liquid metal abilities (shape shifting), but a metal endoskeleton underneath so she could bring back weapons from her time into the past, making her a much more efficient killing machine and an "Anti-Terminator Terminator".

Yeah, I've not seen this film yet but I read it's about the early days of the human vs Skynet war, when they're only just beginning to bring out the T-800 models. Hopefully T-1000 and T-X will make an appearance in the sequels.

First of all, I'm a huge Terminator fan just so you know that I wasn't going to fall for any old action film with the Terminator name slapped on it, I was really looking for a movie that would pay homage to the originals.
I just got back from the theater and all I can say is that it was damn good in my opinion.

All in all, the film had several throwback lines from the previous films, was one of the most action-packed films I've ever seen, and Spoiler:

Oh man, that part was quite possibly the most epic moment in the entire film.
