It would have made much more sense for the T-X to remain disguised as the fiance and then when Katherine embraces it, thinking it's her fiance, BAM. That's the end of Katherine Bruester.
Even though its been only a few days since I saw T3, the way I saw it, the fiancé was not acting normal as Brewster stopped running before T-X "shapeshifted". Not only did the slow walk indicate that it wasnt "normal", T-X was also raising the hand, further making this an akward "reunion". T-X was, after all, going to shoot her with the plasmacannon, so it had no need to close the distance. Brewster was dead either way, if it wasnt for Arnie and his RPG power punch.

Arguable? Maybe. But it makes sense with little effort.

One could say they needed something plausible to scare Brewster into running back to Connor but the scene made sense either way.

Shit it was? The finale was kinda suprising and was looking foward to see where they were going with it.

I must be one of the few people who was glad that it got canned. XD

          I couldn't stand it.

I enjoyed Season 1 and watched the first few episodes of this season, but lost interest shortly thereafter.

It had a mother (Sarah Connor) travel through time with her teenage son (John Connor) absolutely NAKED, along with a fembot. As soon as that happened, I changed the channel.

The Sarah Connor Chronicles probably had more on-screen kills than the new Terminator movie (not seen Salvation, yet, but heard people say all sorts of things), not to mention how one of the Season 2 episodes contained an exploding head ON SCREEN! How many TV shows have done that? (The last voyage of... uhm... at least I think it was called something like that... the one with the submarine flashbacks and the whole "Pandora's box" thing going)

The show might've been general ignorable crap most of the time, but it did have its moments... and when parts of it first started to shine; they shined brightly.

                  Actually... youre right.

An A-10 was shot down and the pilot was probably killed. A submarine-ful of people got killed basically offscreen, and in the "war against the machines" itsself, fought on the battleground, I dont recall a single death. Not to mention that I dont recall a single on-screen death.

In TSCC, there were more kills in a single episode than in T:S.

I wonder what else people will pick up on.

More kills doesn't necessarily mean a better show/movie. XD

Anyway, I'm probably the only one who thought this, but I found it gleefully ironic that they made Helena Bonham Carter's character a dead woman walking when in pretty much every role she's played in the past, she looks like the walking dead.

                      Total Recall disagrees.

War movie where the keywords are: extermination, extinction, no hope, no future, war against machines.

You need to revise your statement. ;)

Not really. You're comparing it to kills offscreen on the tv show, so it's already a pretty weak argument. Just because you don't see a lot of kills in Salvation doesn't necessarily mean there weren't.

Please tell me youve seen the movie?

And Im comparing the ON-SCREEN kills of the show against the ON-SCREEN kills in the movie.

And this part is just hilarious-

The only kills off-screen were those that were vital to the storyline. There were 3 events where the people got killed, and none of them was during the routine of the war. The war itsself was shown to be basically Resistence feeling miserable in their bases, then attacking an objective, killing every Terminator in sight while coming down hard with helos (despite the impossibility of it) and thats it.

Please stop defending a movie you havent seen, using arguments that have no weight.
