Some remakes are okay. But I grew up on Jason & the Argonauts and Clash of the Titans, so I couldn't see a remake in the same light. I also wouldn't mind owning the Sinbad movies! They had cool FX that were actually very realistic and not CGI. I can bet that the new one will be loaded with CGI.

Clash could go 3D.
They make a good point. If so, Sam Worthington could be the first real action star of the 3D era. An intro to Arnold status?Last edited by Vector; 01-14-2010, 07:58 PM.

^ @ CR29, I think it could go without the 3D. Although it's awesome to see, it's a trend that won't last long due to it's high cost. Either way, it'd be nice to see it in 3D, but seeing it normally would be good enough.
Still looking forward to the remake. Although when it was first announced I was a little pissed, it actually looks really good. It's just that the rock music in the trailers are kinda off-putting, imo.Last edited by Ray; 01-14-2010, 09:47 PM.

Welp, the movie comes out this week, and wouldn't you know it? They raised movie ticket prices -- for 3D and 2D. $11.00 for a standard ticket is absolutely unreal. Even worse is, $15 for the 3D tickets around here. No thanks. I think I'll wait for the blu-ray.

Thats like $30 here... geez. The most expensive movies gets here in 3D is $18.50 and thats on a prime audience time (Friday evenings, Saturday's after 2pm).
If I wait a week and a half, I can go see it in 3D for $12 if I go on a Tuesday before 5pm.
