'Alien' series to be revived?

are those any good? ive yet to get those at the moment all i have is Outbreak, Hive, Rogue, genocide and Labrynth, all of which were pretty good, well except Hive, didnt enjoy that one too much.

Anyway Im actually really excited about this film, I have no idea what to expect but still im interested.

They are all directly related unlike most other books and are very good imo, with the exception of genocide I thought the others were a lot weaker.

Genocide is probably my faveourite but I really liked Outbreak, was interesting to see how originally it was meant to be a sequel to Alien

Outbreak/Earth hive are the same. Outbreak is the comic version name, is that what you're reading?

Originally Wilks and Billie were Hicks and Newt and the story followed on from Aliens, but then Alien 3 released so the characters for new names and their histories were slightly altered.

Alien Ressurection kind of ruins Female War for reasons I will not mention, but it could be twisted to fit in with the movies, though being a bit repetitive in theme.

Yeah thats what im reading and thats what I liked about it, how it originally followed on from Aliens. I'll have to get female war and see what its like, ive been meaning to finish buying the whole series of darkhorse Alien comics for a while now

But aliens lack human ingenuity! There are two kinds of humans in the Aliens universe, the first kind are cattle, prey. The second kind are survivors, the Major Alan "Dutch" Schaefer's, the Dwayne Hicks', the warriors. Like me.

Given how well the Marines tend to do in the films and books, I feel I must point out that most of the USMC are part of group 1, not group 2.
