I have seen a few go well...but the users on that forum were very adult and mature, and the mods (yes, including me) made it clear that we'd skull fuck the brains out of anyone who started mud flinging and personal comments.

Which reminds me...guess what happens if you guys start mud flinging and personal comments?

Pagans don't worship Satan, and most of them don't do human (or even animal) sacrifice. Hell, most pagan religions as you likely think of them, such as Wicca, are really very new...seventy odd years or so old. The older ones are either gone or barely worshipped, such as the ancient Gods, or something like Zen Bhuddism or Sikhism, a religion from another part of the world entirely.

As I understand it most Satanists look up to Lucifer as someone who dared to seize his own destiny from God's hands rather than as someone who tells them to go eat babies. They simply want to master there own destiny.

...y'know, I'm not even heavily pregnant like my wife and that still sent my paternal hormones sky rocketing to save babies. If nothing else that kid looks about a month old and is sobbing there eyes out.

On the other hand, the bread and salad do look tasty...

Yeah that's more or less it. Master your own destiny, choose your own path and be your own God. It doesn't seem very appealing though imo, things like "If someone smites you on one cheek, smash them on the other".

And that baby pic is VERY disturbing.. O.O

i really dont know what i am i dont really know alot about religion except for a few satanic stuff (my dad studied about it a while back and i asked him a few things about) though im not satanic i just know some stuff from it.

as i said im not satanic but i do like their rules a little bit. its like their 10 commandments but theres 11 lol.

              1. Do not give opinions or advice unless you are asked.
              2. Do not tell your troubles to others unless you are sure they want to hear them.
              3. When in another’s lair, show him respect or else do not go there.
              4. If a guest in your lair annoys you, treat him cruelly and without mercy.
              5. Do not make sexual advances unless you are given the mating signal.
              6. Do not take that which does not belong to you unless it is a burden to the other person and he cries out to be relieved.
              7. Acknowledge the power of magic if you have employed it successfully to obtain your desires. If you deny the power of magic after having called upon it with success, you will lose all you have obtained.
              8. Do not complain about anything to which you need not subject yourself.
              9. Do not harm little children.
              10. Do not kill non-human animals unless you are attacked or for your food.
              11. When walking in open territory, bother no one. If someone bothers you, ask him to stop. If he does not stop, destroy him.

thats copy and pasted from the church of satan site.

Skull fucking? Why would I post something so passe? It's a reference to a radio program. A kid calls in to tell the host he is goth and tells him he "is of the skull". How about you just chill out a little bit, my GoonSir.

                      I'm Agnostic.

Don't believe in God, but try to keep an open mind.

What's the name of that fascinating Turkish religion where they worship the equivalent of a reformed Satan? At least I recall it was Turkish…

I find this amusing; a very tiny percentage (about 2% I think) of the population of Japan are Christians, and when my former classmate was over there on an exchange, he got hosted by a Christian family and had to go to church on Sunday instead of getting taken around to see what he wanted. That actually really did suck for him, considering that Sunday is the only day you have free of school in Japan. XD

I love the religions that predate Christianity. I wonder what the world would be like if people still hardcore worshipped Zeus or Ra?

Agnostic means you're unsure if there is a God or not. Atheist means you do not believe in any God. So which is it?

OK just to be clear, when i mention Satanists, Witches or Pagans and stuff like that i mean the old fashioned traditional ones that were around thousands of years ago. Not the ones today. The ones today are completely different i know that.

I like the traditional style religions because those are the ones that interest me.

E.g, if i mention Greek religions i don't mean Greek religions now, i mean back in ancient times like with Zeus and such.

missvalentine, you probably dont know this, but the term "pagan" for example, was a Christian term used to both slander, accuse and portray someone who practices religion that is "not valid". So people who were worshipping sacred forrests, rocks, sacred grounds, or even animals, spirits of both home and the woods, were being called "pagans". The sacrifice of livestock in this case usually meant that certain parts of the beasts were used in the rituals, but in most cases, everything else was eaten.

So, the sacrifice usually meant giving the "spirits" the best or most important part of the killed goat (or whatever) while everything else was consumed as usual.

So if youre looking down on "pagans", try to check where the word came from and why was it used, along with misconceptions about it.
