Yeah the trailer looks crazy! I can't believe they added Barbie and Ken. Why oh why did the Barbie doll generation hit me at that age ???? Well we're bound to see more crazy adventures with the toys.

Pixar has done it again. Toy Story 3 was amazing. This entire movie was a tribute to the first two, and people like me. Even though it was a G-rated animated film, it was totally for my generation who grew up with the first two movies. Nothing beats an original, but this one is a close second. It was truly awesome...one of the best movies I've seen in a very long time.
Spoiler:
I'm not ashamed to say I cried during the last 5 or 10 minutes of the movie, when Andy was showing his toys to Bonnie. I don't know what it is about Pixar movies, but I usually get really sad at the end. I don't know if it's just me, but I cried like a baby at the end of Up last year. This time wasn't so serious, but I still got choked up.
Little kids these days couldn't appreciate all the little intricacies of the film, like the little alien dudes. "You saved our lives, we are eternally grateful!" I laughed. "The Claaaaaw!" Children today have no idea the significance of that statement, especially how important it was at the end of the movie when they saved the rest of the toys from the incinerator.
Overall, you definitely should see this movie. If you grew up in the 90's like I did, you NEED to see it.Last edited by Vector; 06-21-2010, 04:02 PM.

^ Agreed 100%. I've always been a huge fan of the series and I watched 1 and 2 several times over to get ready for 3. I did miss Jim Varney (You may remember him as "Ernest"), as he passed away not long after Toy Story 2 but his replacement did a good job. It was everything I hoped for and more, and I enjoyed the numerous references to the earlier movies. In regards to your spoiler...< guilty as charged.Last edited by REmaster; 06-21-2010, 07:20 PM."One can only match, move by move, the machinations of fate... and thus defy the tyrannous stars."

I loved Toy Story 3
Spoiler:
I too cried at the end of the movie when Andy was showing all his toys to Bonnie. It kinda showed how fast time flies. I love the Little Green Men (the aliens) as you can tell since they are in my signature. I also have a small one on my dashboard in my car lol. I thought they got ran over when they got to the dump site but when Woody and the rest of the toys got grabbed I knew exactly who it was. Though I couldn't have been happier with the ending, the whole movie in general.

It is now my favorite movie of all time, no joke. The numerous little references really brings me back in time when I watch the first two movies as a kid. I couldn't ask for more for a closure to this trilogy.
Edit: Whoa, that Armond White is such an idiot. What's wrong with the "toys-come-to-life fantasy"? Most people does that with toys when they are young, and there's nothing wrong with that. No wonder they call him “the most hated movie critic in America.”Last edited by xfactor; 06-22-2010, 11:56 AM.

My point was that in a world where Toy Story 3 is universally acclaimed, there are actually real ppl out there in the wild that think said movie was BLEH!
