Just a teaser trailer for now, but goddamn...the first movie was a huge part of my childhood. I had the authentic talking Buzz Lightyear and like three or four different Woody dolls...I had the video games...I had Mr. Potato Head...oh man. What memories. The second movie was pretty damn good as well.

I know I can't be the only Toy Story fan around these here parts...

No, you're not. As a matter of fact I just saw the teaser several hours ago and thought to myself "Maybe I should make a thread about it on THIA before CR29 does." Vive paresse!

I would say I had fonder memories of the second one because while I enjoyed the first one enough most of my friends got all the toys and I felt a bit behind. When Toy Story 2 came out, it was a "field trip" among the entire...5th grade class I believe, and we could run around recess quoting and acting out all we wanted. Fond memories.

Man...I gotta watch the originals. I miss those movies. I miss that Buzz toy I had!

It was this one^. He said things when you pressed the buttons on his right chest...things like:
        "Buhh-zz Lightyear to the rescue!"
        "To infinity...and BEYOND!"

Also, his laser on his arm made wild noises and lit up and shit. Man, I miss being a kid...

It just won't be the same without Jim Varney.

Yeah, and it doesn't even look like Slinky's gonna be in it.

I'm glad they decided not to include him...it would just be weird if someone else voiced him.

ahah i had the same buzz toy. 12 inches tall with his wings that pop out of his back and 3 buttons that made him talk.

sucks i threw him off the top of a building to "see if he can really fly" lol

i really want to see what TS3 is gonna be like

Lol...apparently, Michael Keaton will be voicing Ken. That's awesome.

The rumored plot synopsis leaves me disappointed, though:
Woody, Buzz, and the rest of their toy-box friends are dumped in a day-care center after their owner, Andy, departs for college.

I know we all move on and shit...and the synopsis sounds a lot like what happened to my toys...but I dunno. What kind of plot can the movie have? The first two revolved around rescuing Buzz and Woody...so what the hell can happen here? Meh.

I remember when the first movie came out, my mom bought me a Slinky Dog toy. The springs got tangled in less than a week. I was crushed. :[

I loved Toy Story, but I'm not sure if I'll go see this one. I saw the second one when it came out oh-so many years ago, and I remember not liking it too much, so I think it's best to stay away. Doesn't change the fact the first movie was absolutely kick-ass, though. God, I miss the old Disney movies. Mulan and Alice in Wonderland ftw.

I remember I used to love the movie and I had this Woody doll with the pull string in the back.

Then one day when I pulled on it I think something broke because the voice became distorted and it started repeating itself for an hour before it stopped working. But the voice distortion really creeped me out.

So that night I threw it out. The next morning I found it on my desk staring at me.

Course, it might've been my grandparents or parents who think I threw it out by mistake or something but since then I've been creeped out by Woody

Hmm, strange. This movie comes out 12 years after the last one? I wonder why.
