Disgusting insects). Then as soon as I got dressed and went outside, I saw a giant snake and a visitor we had over saw it and fainted as I watched it slither past the front door. I have terrible luck, but I'm glad I don't fear snakes because of my location... I'd be pretty much screwed.
And yes Roaches in Australia really suck, they are three to four inches long, have wings and fly around and attack you, it's scary i hate them.

My biggest fear right now is my dad's heart condition. It's hereditary and he has bad heart trouble. Thankfully he has really good doctors working for his heath, so I trust them, but it's scary everytime he has to get shocked to keep his heart in rhythm (he has an irregular heartbeat). They're still trying to get a permanent solution, so that's to be determined.
And since it's hereditary, I'm scared of what will happen to me later on. I'm only 16, and I try to exercise and eat kind of healthy, but I'm still scared I'm going to have serious heart troubles. And I hate hospitals. They're filled with needles and blood, and they're sad places when you see elderly people who aren't going to make it through the night. I just don't want my life to revolve around when my next heart test is. Also, my brother is 20 and he's very athletic, whereas I'm very academic. He plays hockey and lacrosse in college, I play video games and read a lot in high school. I just don't want either of us to go through all the medical stuff my dad is, and I want my dad to turn out safe.

Ah, that would be quite the horror movie J Man.
Missv and I were talking about all of the giant things in Australia, well here's one of them (I've seen bigger ones than this in the wild mind you).
In the words of Richard Aiken... "It's not just a snake... it's a MONSTER!"
Spoiler:
Photos from here. The snake's bite/jaw range is around 70-something cm (nearly a metre wide, not counting it's complete dislocated range), the snake's fangs were around 10cm long and it's not even the full snake (it's missing part of it's tail). All of the wires were around 10 inches apart... that's a big snake.
I hate having to deal with the giant snakes here, and that's just a loose python but it sucks when you see the giant venomous ones or you have to deal with the HUGE bird-eating spiders and other nasty things. I love snakes, but it's the huge ones (and huge spiders) that do scare me a little!Last edited by Enetirnel; 07-09-2009, 11:01 AM.

It's terrible here, because in Australia we have the majority of the venomous ones so it can be quite a combo... resulting in Yawn's little brother or sister.
It's not so much the snakes, as to the huge spiders I've dealt with. Kangaroos look funny, but they don't when they're six foot and bigger, have giant claws (as the dominant male ones) if you get to close to their females or just too close to them. The spiders freak me out, but the huge flying roaches really disgust and do make me freak out a little (My reaction is to either 1) kill it, 2) get someone else to kill it whilst I'm in the clear).

This ALSO includes giant nasty spiders, crocodiles, kangaroos, HUGE bats and crows.
A family friend actually collected tons of specimens of snakes and spiders, which ended up in the national Reptile Park and around the world because they were so abnormally large. Normally I don't mind them, but when it came to those big nasty things... good riddance.

Yeah, and that one I posted was only a normal python.
Ugh, and REmaster - you were quite game to clean out the areas with the bird eating spiders. *Shudders* I hate those things. Damn spiders.

When I first played Silent Hill 4 and walked into this room I immediately screamed and threw a pillow at the screen and had someone else turn the game system off.
Idk why, but things like this really scare me. I'm also afraid of very large statues of people that aren't the size they are supposed to be

The way the camera angles in that room are set up, you can't see it until it's RIGHT in front of you. Then I started laughing because of the way it's eyes move.
I agree that the eyes were hilarious.Last edited by REmaster; 07-09-2009, 10:22 PM."One can only match, move by move, the machinations of fate... and thus defy the tyrannous stars."
