Indiana Jones 5.

George Lucas and Steven Spielberg have recently announced that they will most likely make a 5th Indiana Jones film, possibly featuring Shia LaBeouf as the main character and Harrison Ford as the supporting character much like Sean Connery's role in Indiana Jones: and the Last Crusade.

At first i thought that they were going to start milking the franchise and was horrified, but then i remembered that the Indy series was originally meant to be a 5 part series in the first place. And that the only reason for the 19 year gap between 3 and 4 was because they could not agree on where the story should go after 3. Now they have the story figured out there set to make the fifth and final installment of the Indy series after all the time.

Yeah i don't want this to turn into another Shia LaBeouf film either. He's ok but is in too many things.

EDIT:

Harrison Ford says George Lucas is currently in “think mode” for the next Indy, and Lucas has now done a 360 and said that Harrison will be the lead if it happens. It’s likely Lucas put the Shia idea out there to see how it played with the fans, and as everyone hated the notion, he’s retracted it

I don't mind Shia LeBeouf but I like to think that KotCS was never made. One of the lamest films I've ever seen.

Really? are you serious? There are plenty of worse films that Indy 4.

Indy 4 wasn't that bad. Better than anything that's come out this year so far anyway.

Shia is an excellent actor who has paid his dues with Disturbia and Eagle Eye. Hating the upcoming movie because of him is an act of stupidity.

I wouldn't say it is, just because people consider him to be a good actor doesn't mean everyone has to like him. Different strokes for different folks etc....

He can only play one kind of character, he's not a versatile actor nor a particularly good one.
