A lot of actors are like that or they get type casted. Another Indiana Jones just sounds bad. Now I know for sure that hollywood is running out of ideas.

I'm up for another Indiana Jones flick, for sure. I like all of the other ones, and I'm sure this will be no different than the rest.

A worse film than Indy 4: Indy 5.

        Indy 4 was bad.

I do like Shia though. He was great in the new Transformers (which came out today, saw it in IMAX. )

Okay, I've gotta ask (and I'm sure I'll regret it later); Why does everyone hate the new Indiana Jones flick? It was no more far-fetched and/or idiotic than the other three. My feeling is that people maybe built it up in their minds to be something it was never going to be.

I've been an Indy fan all my life....but I have to say....the 4th movie was terrible...a 5th one...I'd rather not even think about it. Ford will be what...pushing 70 by the time its made? He's a great actor...but its time to move on. I really don't care about LeBeouf. I don't like him, but I don't dislike him either. And I also think they've worn out pretty much any possible stunt. Indy has defeated Nazis and tribesman, became immortal, survived a nuke, and then met aliens.

That's not enough, Jack Bauer can do all these things in his R n R.

Anyway making another Indy flick is a terrible idea, the fourth one nearly killed the franchise.

Well they originally wanted to make 5 anyway, so I don't think it's a direct case of "Hollywood running out of ideas" or anything. It's the original wishes of the creators, so I say nothing wrong with it if they want to make it. It's not like if you thought 4 was bad and if 5 turns out to also be bad in opinions that it will effect the originals. I dislike Alien Ressurection and AvP1-2 weren't that great, but I still watch Alien(s) and Predator once in a while cause I love the movies.

Who knows, maybe 5 will be better than 4 this time. Look at Star Wars. From what I've read in many places, most people considered Ep 1 the weakest of the 1-3 trilogy. Who's to say a 5th Indiana Jones won't trump 4 and be a better movie?

I'm only a casual movie goer though, and I get more casual enjoyment out of movies than most people I know, so maybe my opinion isn't worth much.

And those people deserves to be slapped, 'cause Attack of the Clones is an incredibly boring movie and Revenge of the Sith is a clusterfuck in terms of directing and narrative (not to mention how the over-abuse of live action mixed with CG actually looks horrifyingly awkward in most scenes, while... oddly enough... things blend pretty okay-ishly in Episode 1, even though the CG is far from as well developed as it was in Episode 2-3.

Anyway, I dunno what people expected from the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, but I was entertained, although it wasn't exactly memorably great or anything. As far as the supernatural goes, it's probably less packed with it than the previous movies were (especially considering how things weren't exactly of a supernatural nature)

A new movie could surely turn out great, question is what they're doing with it. I don't have this Shia LeBeouf hate everyone else has, I actually kinda like him on the screen (but as a person... I don't know), but I hate how he's the new typecasting toy ('cause he really plays the same type of role/character in at least Eagle Eye, Disturbia, Transformers and Indiana Jones).

Whatever they do, I just hope they'll keep the digital effects to a minimum and that the movie gets made before we have another case of Sean Connery in The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen going with Harrison Ford (seriously, the amount of cutting/camera changing in that movie during scenes with Sean Connery is friggin awkward... just like the rest of the movie.)

You mean, like 99% of Hollywood actors, including Harrison Ford?

Shias talent can only be ignored if you think hes popular and dislike him because hes been in a Mike Bay movie. Look at Pattison, if we´re to talk about overrated actors.

I like him too, i just don't want him as the star of Indy 5 that's all.

Not really, there was originally meant to be 5 Indy films in the first place. There just showing up on there promise. If it's gonna have Harrison Ford as the lead again then I'm all for this movie to be made.

How was Indy 4 bad at all? It was not bad. It was better than Transformers 2 anyway.

Indy 5 has every possibility to be brilliant.

I know right, I loved all the Indy films. I don't get why people hate on Indy 4 and Indy 2, there were no worse or better than Indy 1 and Indy 3.

Indy 5 will be great as long as it doesn't go the way of every new film that came out this year and be nothing but a 2 hour explosion.

I disagree, I don't know why but Attack of the Clones really appeals to me for some reason, i love it. And Revenge of the Sith is as good as the classics, though i agree on the CGI live action blend, it looks odd at some points.

I like The Phantom Menace too, but it's no where near as good as the other films.
