nice,I still want a tattoo. I was supposed to get one over the summer but decided not to cause I needed the money for something else.

yha a friend of mine that i used to work with had monsters on his arm that are part of his sleeve it had Nosferatu,a zombie,a mummy and a few others i cant think of atm.

the worst part of a tattoo is afterwards when your friends think its funny to slap it. since i dont have a tattoo i wouldnt no what it feels like but i no its gotta hurt like a bitch.

If ANYONE did that to me after I got a tattoo, I would beat the SHIT out of them. Not only could it mess up the tat itself, it hurts soooo freakin' bad.

And having just put a lot of money down on something like that, I would be LIVID if someone's ignorance screwed it up so I had to go back and get a touch up.

I don't *want* a tattoo per say, but if I were to get one, I'd get one on my back.

Mainly because of this issue I have with my back (it's genetic), that a tattoo would nicely cover up.

The issue would be what to get.

Like I said above, only get one if it has a special/personal meaning behind it,dont get one cause its 'cool', thats why most people get them and I find it to be a bit dduurrrr.

I had a lot of tattoos in mind, but the problem is being able to afford it. I wanted to get the Heath Ledger joker on my right bicep, not because he's "trendy", but because I truly thought his performance was excellent. And I loved the Black Metal type face paint he wears.

I also thought of getting a tattoo of a dog I had that passed in 2005, yeah its only a dog, but he was special to me.

Another idea I had was getting the 2 headed corpse nailed to a cross like from my favorite Death Metal cd cover, Osculum Obscenum. The artwork is just incredible.

Apart from that, I had numerous tattoo ideas, but it all comes down to being able to afford it. Also laziness..

It's a very important album to me both as a person and musician. I identify with so much of what's going on on that record, and that is how I know I would never regret getting it tattooed somewhere... I just don't have the balls to do it!

As I mentioned in the I'm Happy thread, I got my first tattoo yesterday. A drawing I did for my dad around 4 years ago. I re-drew it and got it tattoo'd.


I went to DragonFly Tattoo's and I got an appointment with the best guy there. His name is Troy, hes a cool guy he talks to you through it the whole way. He bitched about his wife half the time which was funny as hell.It took around 2 and a half hours to 3 hours counting smoking breaks.


The picture was taken by a friend of mine at school.

The pain isnt so bad like I thought it would be. It feels like a catch scratch but with a burning sensation afterwards.
The numbers on the right arm is my dads date of birth and on its left arm is his date of death.
So this tattoo means alot to me obviously. I had a few friends with me as well to talk to.
Troy also did my dads tattoo's and my friend Matts tattoo as well.

When I get more money I'll probably get another one.

After it was done Troy said he had fun doing it because it wasnt the same old stuff like he does everyday like butterflys, hearts,crosses and the likes. So I thought that was pretty nice of him lol.

Almost 2 years since the last post!

I got the A Perfect Circle logo on my upper back almost 3 weeks ago.


APC's music has gotten me through the worst times of my life and it's still working it's magic through this rough patch in my life now. If I got an APC tattoo before a NIN tattoo that says something lol.

Today at 4pm I have another tattoo scheduled and will be my last one for awhile.



I'm getting the center piece. 3 Libras being one of my [many] favorites and one of the few situations I'm in now I saw the logo while putting away my NIN,APC and Tool collections and I knew I had to get it.

Seems like my whole immediate family is clad in tattoos. xD I'm the only one to have none but I'd want it to have meaning just like my parents' were. I love my mother's, if I can get a pic of it I'll show you guys. On one shoulder she has a phoenix(rebirth) and on the other she has a koi.(perserverence) Inbetween them on the back of her neck is a lotus(a flower she is fond of) with her astrological sign in it. My father's most recent one is a pinup girl with a Navy sailor outfit on, and bears the numbers of the ship he served on.

Ive been wanting to get a tattoo for years now, Ive just never come up with a design that i want inked onto my skin for the rest of my life. a few times ive come close then decided this design isnt really right for me. Nothing personal has happened in my life recently (thank god) that really merits a tattoo, besides ive always thought id want a tattoo that reminds me of a happier time in my life rather than a sad one, or maybe something that represents my character, but fuck knows what that would be.
