Crysis is still without a doubt one of the most beautiful looking games ever made, but Killzone 2 is by far the best looking console game so far. Though MGS4 deserves an honourable mention.

Neither do I find him funny, nor the actors that play in his films funny, nor his style of comedy funny, and lastly, I don't find his films funny.
I do not understand why and how this man has been able to make so many terrible films, it's like he just shits them out all over the place, contantly regurgitating the same old bullshit again and again. Yet people go watch them, laugh, he makes money and makes more films. I mean he has made over 17 films since 2004. 17 fucking films in a span of 6 years! Including 5 films just released last year. WTF!?
And why, why must Seth Rogan star in almost every one of his films? I hate Seth Rogan.
Plus, among those films, have you seen Forgetting Sarah Marshall? It's a Judd Apatow-produced film but he didn't have anything to do with the writing process as far as I know. The characters are dynamic and human, if a little exaggerated at times. Many of the jokes will make you laugh out loud and a lot of them are light-hearted (though I don't think you'd care if they're raunchy). I highly recommend it.

Off the top of my head I can say he wrote and directed The 40 Year-Old Virgin, Knocked Up, and Funny People. Producing involves pitching to the studios and providing money, among other things.

Only think is when I see Jason Segal act all I can think of is the TV show How I met your Mother. I can't think of him in any other role now.
I saw 40 year old Virgin and a few other and was turned off all his films after that. Didn't really find them that appealing.

. I would say that Crysis would have done *considerably*better sales and life-expectancy-wise if they worked on the multiplayer, because at first, the game didnt even ship with TDM! All in all, they had the market and necessary hardware to sell the game to. The problem was that the game had to deliver in every aspect in order to sell the way they expected it to sell. PC consumers are a tricky bunch and graphics alone wont cut it.
I have to give them props in all other areas though. Theyve been great to the modding community (even touching Valves reputation), their singleplayer was excellent (only true sandbox game IMO), the engine is magnificent- its so scalable that even my rig, which barely passes minimum reqs, still runs at 40-50 FPS and some settings are set conveniently to medium (all while the game looks great). And they have done a good job at patching and supporting the game.
But considering that the game was supposed to sell for its awesome multiplayer (too), the game is very short-legged, hence small community and lower than expected sales.
Most definitely. And I expect it to be this way for a long time.
That's good, right?

Ive said it before a million times. but I think MGS4 is way overhyped and overrated.

Did I mention the amazing BG music? What an amazing soundtrack.
Then again, I've always loved the MGS series. So I might be biased in my reasoning.
But think what you what to think, anyway. I think otherwise, though...

So far the only reason I personally think could be valid, when it comes to MGS4 bashing, is that it went a little too far off the gameplay philosophy established by MGS1. Thats it. But really, the game *had* to be epic in order to deliver a great ending, and it was epic without smoke and mirrors. Unlike RE5.

Yet type in MGS on Google and a bunch of MGS4 shit comes up.
The game itself is ok, but it just changed way to much, it needs something to bridge the gap between MGS2 and MGS4. Hopefully Rising will do this, but still I hate the direction it went.
There is a lot I love in MGS4, but even more I hate.
