@ REmaster: funny you mention that because I partied this 4th with dude that I remember seeing in line for midnight release of RE 5.

Anyway a meet up would be cool but what would we do? I have a pool and beer.

Remember Leech Charmer's 24 hour...er...48 hour Resident Evil marathon/slumber party lol. That sounded like fun

Even if I didn't live so far away from the majority of the members, I think that given the slight degree of animosity between some members, meet ups should probably be kept between friends. xD

lol thats true... I would be scared to meet some of the members fearing I might be murdered or something since some people don't like me on here. hehehe

Most of the crazy people on this site were banned and that why I'm strapped for the crazies. It is a weird to talk to someone or people online and then meet them in person because who knows how the really are. Same could be said about meeting someone at the bar. Thats why I never tried online dating, just to weird for me but who knows the bar scene is getting kinda old.

Yeah, I've met someone in person from meeting them online and it was... Creepy *shudders* but I'm pretty sure some people on here would be normal... Or at least my definition of normal lol

Bar scene is a no go... Us chicks love it when you talk to us in random places like coffee shops or a store... You will most likely meet normal ones too that aren't there for, well, you know.

You live in New Zealand right? I like New Zealand it's a pretty awesome looking place, id rather be there than here in Australia.

I've done a few meet ups before, they're generally pretty cool. You do, of course, occasionally get a fruit cake wandering into the mix, but as on the internet they're either ignored or yelled at until they go away. Difference being upsetting someone in real life means we can get hold of you, a life hamster, several thousand ants and a pen knife. So even internet trolls tend to be relatively well behaved in real life.

Uhh. I think we have a cultural difference here. What exactly do you mean by 'fruit cake'? Where I come from, I'm pretty sure it has a different meaning than what you were going for there. I think so, at least. I could be wrong.

Darkmoon means someone who has lost the plot/weirdo/freak/crazy person.

I wouldn't mind doing a meet-up, but I do have to agree with the general idea that you never know who or what a person can do that you've randomly met online. Considering my luck on meeting creepy people... perhaps it would be best if I didn't do any meet-ups.

Yeah, fruit cake means a lunatic.

The joy of larger meet ups is even if you get some idiot showing up there are enough people that they're just a background irritation, one that may or may not need duct taping to a lamp post, naked, outside a police station with a 'nudity is beauty' sign.
