    Not sure, but It would be really cool if he twisted the world of wonderland around and made it darker.

      This is my everlasting problem that surges my inability to get excited for this film. Bumping up Alice's age seems like a huge no-no to me. It's Alice's youth and innocence that made her such an interesting character in the novels, and although her age is never directly stated in the books, most literary theorists agree she's about 12. Seeing that youth taken away is really disheartening. Of course, I shouldn't judge the film based on this alone (after all, it's a different approach to Alice's story), but this is just my take at the moment. Almost adult Alice? Not cool, brah.
