Problem is really that Silva wants to Retire, most probably once his fight deal with UFC runs out, and from the Brazilian media POV *he can be pretty vocal there* he doesn't have a high opinion of Demian Maia either due to misunderstood comments *check Maia's interviews on MMAjunkie radio/podcast its pretty insightful, so odds are even if Maia got in a position for a shot, Silva would probably retire sadly.

Quite frankly Okami's been waiting for a shot for ages yet keeps getting stepped over like I said, giving him a title shot would give the UFC the marketing value needed to push their brand into Japan.

That picture doesn't even begin to justifiably explain just how much blood was pouring out of the wound. I've never seen someone so bloody before...let alone in a MMA fight. I think Dana White himself said "that's the bloodiest UFC fight I've ever seen."

Dana said bloodiest Ultimate Fighter fight, and it wasn't to be honest, there's been worse.

                      IT BE FIGHTING SEASON!

Strikeforce tomorrow night with Fedor/Rogers amongst others, UFC104 next weekend (a card that might not excite many US fight fans, but for us Brits is pretty insanely packed) and UFC105 the weekend after!

                      Great times.

I've got it ordered, Sky did a really god job of suckering me into the hype. Fully expecting Haye to lose by a very dodgy stoppage though.

He can win for sure though.

In the words of Joe Rogan: "WOOOOOOOOOOW!"

Not sure i agree the decision. No doubt Haye's tactics were spot on, no doubt he hit the bigger shots, i just thought they were a bit too sporadic to win him enough rounds. Couldn't quite believe how confident he looked as the final round closed as well!

Spent the whole fight telling the missus (the first time she's watched boxing with me) that if it went to the judges that Haye couldn't possibly win, i'd written that completely out of my mind, wasn't even the most remote possibility of it happening! Especially with Don King involved!

Jaw hit the floor the moment Buffer said "London" haha

Well when you look at it again *just re-watched it, was watching the live feed while listening to 5live radio commentary* it seemed everyone had called it for Haye except Sky!

Made sense, when you look at it, Valuev barely tagged him at all.
I had thought the moment one judge had declared 114-114 the result was fixed, but considering how awful Valuev fought, I doubt anyone could have rigged that decision *even in Germany*.

Alot of people celebrating in Bermondsey tonight *Just drove through it*

Amazing night of MMA, much needed for British MMA i think.

TUF9 took a lot slack from the Americans with them saying the format was laid out for our guys to come off best, but Ross' performance against a veteran will go some way to showing our boys are for real.

If Dre keeps performing like that, picking up improvements along the way it won't be long before he's fighting on main cards either.

Tonight's performance was crucial for Bisping. I said just after the Hendo fight that the KO would be a bigger deal for Henderson's career than it would for Mike's, just as long as Mike responded in the right way, and tonight he did. From the moment he walked out you knew how badly he wanted it, and then he went out and produced one of the most impressive comeback victories i've seen for a while now. Good on him!

And i'll hold off on the Hardy nuthugging because he's getting his fill elsewhere, but a great performance, if he worked on a knife edge at times!

Brilliant night, would be sick to see a card stacked with British fighters again in the near future!
