I recently just had a double death in the family, it's always a heart break to lose someone, especially one of your parents. A friend of mine lost his mother to cancer he found it incredibly hard, I hope you're doing alright."One can only match, move by move, the machinations of fate... and thus defy the tyrannous stars."

I really could have used a good laugh :/
I'll go see it regardless with fingers crossed.Last edited by REmaster; 06-11-2014, 10:49 PM."One can only match, move by move, the machinations of fate... and thus defy the tyrannous stars."

As for me, I join the book readers of Game of Thrones that are upset at Spoiler:
no Lady Stoneheart in last night's finale. That could have been the cliffhanger of the YEAR. :/ D&D are kind of stupid anyway, so. (lol let's make Jaime rape Cercei and then she's leik totes alllll over him in the finale lolz.)

1. No Lady Stoneheart.
2. Let's kill off Jojeen for some reason.
3. Let's make Tyrion killing Shae less brutal by A.) Having her try to kill him first and B.) Have him be sorry about it afterwords.
4. Let's leave out Jaime telling Tyrion the truth about his ex-wife, so that they part ways on a "Bro's 4 life" note; instead of a "If I ever see you again, I'll kill you--and yes, I killed your son" note.
5. The appearance of Bloodraven/the three-eyed crow was awful. He just look like a sixty year old man sitting on a tree, when he's suppose to be well over a hundred, and literally half-tree.
Like this:Spoiler:
6. I felt like the monumental scene(s) of Tyrion killing Shae + Tywin were rushed. We got 7 minutes of Tyrion talking about beetles and 5 minutes for two very significant deaths in that character's journey.
7. The one original thing that I liked was the Hound/Brienne scene.
With all that said, It's really getting to the point where people should stop bitching about George not finishing the books in time for the show; it won't really matter in the end. For every one thing that they change in the show, it creates a domino effect. By the time George finishes A Dream of Spring, the story in the show will be vastly different. Of course, D & D have already been told how the series ends in "broad strokes", so I assume they're skipping ahead, then going back and cutting out characters/sub-plots that don't have a crucial impact on the outcome of the saga.
Just my 2 cents.Last edited by REmaster; 06-17-2014, 02:10 AM."One can only match, move by move, the machinations of fate... and thus defy the tyrannous stars."

Spoiler:
Especially about Shae/Tyrion/Tywin being rushed as all hell and fucked up.
It's like...they made Shae sympathetic instead of in it for the money from the start like in the books. Kay. Then she betrayed Tyrion at court. But it looked like she was being forced to say it all. Then she's in his bed chamber for no explained reason. (And again, in the show her true motives are unknown) And then they make Tyrion look like even more of a 'good guy' by having her strike first. The parallel of Tyrion finding out a women he thought hated him actually loved him, and the women he loved turning out to hate him, is LOST in the show without the truth about Tysha.
I guess D&D want the Jojen Paste theory to be true, but even so. Wtf. :/
