I am in disbelief.

There's a trophy in WipEout HD, called 'Beat Zico' in which you have to complete a lap in under 30.85 seconds or so, on Anulpha Pass with the Piranha ship. Very complicated maneuvers are required, and at least three barrel rolls must be accomplished since they give you boosts.

So there I was. Every barrel roll was done, every right boost at the right time, every boost pad hit, I was well on course to getting the trophy. My time was good, I was on the very last bit, just one more barrel roll and then suddenly, my ship's engines disengaged, refused to turn and stopped responding.

The controller had died on me.

Someone broke into my brothers car *and partly mine as I paid half but only he uses it* and stole 6 CD's from the glove compartment and £100 worth of gear *Torch, car repair stuff etc* from the Carboot as my brother friggin telegraphs whats in the car as he takes so long to prepare getting in and out of the car before he drives off *whereas I just yank the shit from the car when I come home*.
It wouldn't suprise me if it was the Squatters across the road, romanian Gypsies who've broken into a derelict house and declared squatters rights as they see a pack of criminals *coming and going from the house with 2 large vans at 4am in the morning etc*.
Then again it could even be the wannabe gangstas who live nextdoor to us as they're always trying to kick off shit.

Either way we can't claim the insurance for it because that'd jack up the price next year cause of the shithole area we live in *thanks mum for picking one of the worst towns in the UK to live in for the past 20 years and refuse to move out*

Yeah, I got my money back in the end. And bought a different one that was a little bit more expensive at £180, and sadly a 40gig.

On the other hand...it does work. Unlike the dryer I bought from the same shop as the PS3 which didn't work and also got refunded. If you live in the UK then take my advice...Brighthouse: Cheap because they don't work.

The head gasket on my 95 Mustang failed causing exhaust gases to enter the coolant system causing my radiator to explode spewing coolant all over the engine compartment and frying my alternator in the process. Talk about chain reaction. Now all I can get for this hunk of metal and rubber is a lousy $300 bucks... $5000 bucks turned into $300 in less than 5 minutes. Awesome.

I'm angry about the piss-weak state of the Australian $!
When I got back from overseas a few months ago, I was shocked to see it at $0.98us. It was a 20 year high and I didn't expect it to stay there but...
Last weak it was still at $0.86us.
It's now about to drop below $0.70!!!

It really sucks when it comes to buying things online etc.
I thought America's economy is supposed to be a basket case. It's annoying to see their $ going up and up!
