      Is it?

I see commercials for all this stuff on TV all the time, but don't really check it out.

Guess it's part of its underrated-ness, eh?

Oh, Satoshi Kon is a great movie director. He is definitely underrated.

That darn Miyazaki, hogging the spotlight. Not saying he's a bad director at all. His movies are quite good also.

But Wiki Satoshi Kon. Interesting stuff.

        It really is. Absolutely gut-busting!

Alien Resurrection is definitely underrated. That film was brilliantly done. Not as good as 1 or 2 but still very good. Much much better than Alien 3 was. Though Alien 3 is ok too.

Also sometimes I think RE3 is underrated. No one gives it the credit it deserves.

The first Siren game. A lot of people got put off by the silly voice acting choice (everyone has a perfect Japanese face and a thick London accent) but the game itself is very good, pretty damned scary and has a storyline that can crush your very mind out your ears it's so confusing.

I have a copy of the first Siren game on my shelf. Ive been waiting to play it for a while. I'm gonna start it when I finish Haunting Ground and Uncharted.

              It looks pretty good.

It is. It's just hard as nails and takes a little while to get passed the silly voice actor choice.

I saw Alien 1, loved it. Saw part 2. Very good, not quite as good as 1. But still good.

Then I heard all the others afterward were terrible. I might give Resurrection a shot.

And I agree. I beat RE3 and I thought that game was pretty good, especially with the introduction of some cool features like ammo creation and an assault rifle for use. There graphical improvements too. Although, not a big Carlos fan. Heh.

And Nemesis. He was so random and wouldn't freaking die. We had some good times, though.

Nemesis is my favorite RE monster, he was so cool. RE3 is under appreciated I think.

Alien and Aliens were both fantastic films, some of the best ever made. I think Aliens would be my favorite if I was forced to choose but I love both.

Alien 3 is a good film, but when compared to the other two films it pales really badly in comparison. It's definitely worth checking out. Also a bad film in the 90's is like a good film now. Movie quality has gone right down I think. I can see why Alien 3 isn't as much liked though, still a good film though.

But Resurrection, now there is nothing wrong with that except for one small plothole. But if you can forgive and forget about that you will get so much enjoyment out of the movie, it's filmed brilliantly and spectacularly. I think the was almost as good as the first two Alien films. I really cannot understand why people don't like this film. Of coarse the plot was very weird, but it was weird in a good way. I liked it, it felt fresh and original.

The reason I liked part 1 a little better was that it kept me a lot more tense. One by one the members were being removed, and by some strange monster you don't really see almost until the very end.

As for the other other Aliens; I will see to part 3 as well. They come on TV in the movie channels every once in awhile, which means they're uncensored, so I can watch them in all their uncut glory.

Have you seen the director's cut of Alien 1? They added quite a bit more footage to that one in comparison to the original.

And Nemesis for the win, I agree. I liked how he said "S.T.A.R.S." while he was attacking you. You knew then that he was your primary and only target. I love it when he knocks and kills other zombies in his way too when he's running at you.

Yeah I loved that fact about Alien as well, I made a longish post reviewing the movie a while ago somewhere. I also liked how at first it seems Ripley is just an unimportant side character. it's very well done. Aliens was filmed by James Cameron though who is one of my favorite directors ever so If I had to pick one, Id pick Aliens, but only just it's a very close call.

I haven't seen the directors cut yet, but I have it on DVD and was actually just considering watching it tonight. My brother and I bought a huge Alien and Predator DVD box set that has all the films both theatrical and directors cut releases of everyone, and tons of special features and documentary's. Ive been having fun watching them all.

I do love how Nemesis helps you a little unintentionally by killing zombies. He was so fun to run away from. RE3 was also the first classic style RE game I played and Nemmy scared the shit outta me. RE3 also adds a lot of little things to RE's back story that I love. I love the irony in that Nemmy's primary goal was to kill Jill, but ultimately he ends up saving her life completely by accident later on. Nemmy infected Jill in Raccoon City, and that made her blood able to do something for Wesker that saved her somehow, can't remember at the moment, I tried to forget RE5.

That explains a lot and more than likely why your opinion is biased for re3 just as you probably think mine is with re1.

Not really. It was the first I played true, I played it at my friends for about an hour and died at the RPD by Nemmy.

First I played fully was RE1. But I bought RE1 because I thought RE3 was so damned cool I got the whole series.

And I haven't fully played part 5. I will, though.

I don't think RE3 is underrated or under-appreciated...it was just widely thought of as not nearly as good as its predecessor, RE2. This happens to be something I agree with. RE3 did a lot of things well(randomly respawning enemies, Nemesis) but RE2 was just so mindblowing when it came out, and RE3 did not have the same effect.
