  • Reporting is for bitches...truth.

But like i said before, people know how to visit wrestling sites themselves. You just popping links into the thread is no more productive than an automated spambot!

        • ^ You're welcome BrionIrons. At least there's somebody who doesn't mind me sharing the wrestling news on the boards. If Stu and A.K.47 don't like it, well... that's their problem, not mine.

Plus... they can always report my postings in this thread to the admins, and let "them" decide what I'm doing is spamming or not.

(If the admins believe that the news I'm posting "is" spamming. Then I'll just stop posting the links then. The admins should also be mindful that if I am indeed "spamming", I can totally assure that it was accidental, since I never really think that what I am posting is indeed spamming)

I am aware of the fact that some people prefer to visit the websites itself, but I just thought I would be nice enough for them to spare them the trouble. Just in case some people don't feel like going to another website because they're feeling a bit lazy. I mostly tend to think of these things when I'm posting the news.

Backstage Details Behind Maria Kanellis’ Release From WWE

Maria Kanellis’ release from World Wrestling Entertainment is being seen as a surprise considering that the fans voted her Diva of the Year in an online poll last December not to mention that she will be appearing as a contestant on Celebrity Apprentice, which debuts in two weeks on NBC. She herself has told friends she was blindsided by the release and that she had no reason to believe it was coming.

Her departure was said to be due to management’s negative reaction to an interview she did with The Sun this past January where she said she wasn’t sure how much longer she’d stay with WWE because she had outside interests and would like to start a family at some point.

“I’m starting to do other things and it’s partially because one day I want to be a mom and I want to get married and you can’t really do that when you’re on the road,” Kanellis told The Sun. “So I’ve got to find a job that will allow me to do that.”

When the interview drew a bad reaction, she did a follow-up interview to clarify that it was long way away and that she had no plans on leaving anytime soon. In the day following her release, she did a third interview to say it was not her decision to leave WWE, nor did she ask for a release. However, she did note that “when a bad relationship is over, you move on.” She also said WWE was holding her back from expanding her career. WWE officials were not high on her asking to take deals outside of the company.

One company source said Vince McMahon had been negative on her in meetings in recent few weeks, with one person claiming she came back with an change in attitude after returning from Celebrity Apprentice.

“She always made my honor roll of talent to deal with on the Divas end of the roster. Super easy going and actually played a role well as the bubbly ditz,” said one former WWE writer of Maria. “However, Vince knows all too well about how the ego swells when the performers get some mainstream traction and it never benefits the company.”

Some of the wrestlers have an idea on how she performed on Celebrity Apprentice, with one person close to the matter saying he expects her to come out of the season looking like a star and could not understand why WWE would cut ties with her. Another wrestler said this was likely the situation because WWE figures if you find success outside of wrestling, you’re going to receive outside offers and end up leaving wrestling anyway, noting what happened with Stacy Keibler.

While Maria weighs her future, she will be pursuing a career in music in the meantime as she is expected to release her debut album Seven Sins on Apr. 13 on iTunes.

          • Maria was hot but really was an ok wrestler and probably will go the way of Stacy Keibler and do movies or tv shows.

I'm actually enjoying NXT as it is a breath of fresh air and creative and hope they can continue this.

And while it's a complete good-hearted action, still can be considered as spam . As you've said I'm actually lazy enough to not searching wrestling news, and some times I find the info in the links you post very interesting. A suggestion that might keep all happy is that you actually make a comment about the news you're posting... Why don't you give it a try?

Its funny when you go on and insult people. Pretty mature don't you think. Especially if a certain person asking for results of the PPV when they can just head straight to the site for the results, an example is on page 20. That pretty much spam haha. Lazy or not but asking for the result of a PPV or whatever is happening on a wrestling show is a WTF! Why not just visit the site. WWE is only 3 letters after all and how lazy is that especially you have to wait for a reply back when you post for results when you can just head straight to the site for full info. I mean really

Why are you getting so unsure of your own post whether it'd be spamming or not.

                • It's not spam. It's not off topic nor is it useless one word posts. People post links to news articles for games and movies all the time, so why should wrestling be different? Continuing to argue about it will be considered spam though.

                  • ^ That is pretty much one of the reasons why I posted the links to the wrestling news articles.

Thanks for clearing this up, Darkmoon, guess I wouldn't have worry about being banned from the forums, because I had inadvertedly done something that is not THIA policy.

EDIT: I decided to add Stu and A.K.47 to my ignore list, since I'm so sick and tired of those two lecturing me about what I'm posting. Also to prevent any uncalled-for arguments on this thread between me and those two.

                          • TNA Knockout Traci Brooks Released

TNA Wrestling has released Traci Brooks, according to PWInsider.com.

Details regarding Brooks’ departure have yet to be disclosed. She had been with the company since 2003.

Her most recent run saw her become a part of the since departed Main Event Mafia. She had been one of the company’s original female performers and was an original member of the Knockouts division.

(This news came as a bit of a shock to me. But then again... Traci hasn't been used much ever since the Main Event Mafia was quietly disbanded)

Traci Brooks Comments On Being Released From TNA

As reported earlier, TNA Wrestling has parted ways with longtime female performer Traci Brooks (real name Tracy Brookshaw). Her profile has since been removed from the company’s official website, which is their unofficial way of confirming talent departures from the organization.

Brooks commented on her release from the organization on her MySpace account. She wrote:

Just wanted to take this time to say yes i was released yesterday afternoon from TNA. There is nothing to report or any stories on why…simply they had nothing for me.

I loved my time at TNA and will look back at my seven years with them with great fondness. TNA is a family and unfortunately this is the nature of the beast with family members coming and going. I will still be wrestling and doing conventions just like i have been this whole time. Thank you to the ring crew, camera men, production, creative and of course the talent who i have shared so many good times with, my only sadness is not being able to say goodbye to these people in person.

I do have my ebay store (tracibrooksdirect2u) where you can find traci brooks merch. My myspace which is tnaknockouttracibrooks and my facebook which is traci brooks i do not or have not ever had a twitter account and those 2 sites are my only social network…so if anyone is following me on twitter sorry to say its not me, as well as facebook..there is imposter’s but traci brooks is my only facebook account..

thanks again to my fans for always supporting me and for all the great times i have had over the years. Looking forward to what life has in store for me..god bless..and please watch TNA monday nights as i will still be cheering on my family including my husband

(I'm glad that Traci still seems to be on good terms with TNA, regardless of what just happened. I'm also happy that she is still married to Kazarian, despite allegations of him cheating on her)

                              • Sting Will Be At TNA iMPACT! On Monday Night

TNA president Dixie Carter posted a message on her Twitter page (Twitter.com/tnadixie) with the following announcement:

“Spoke w/Sting last nite. We’ve renewed his contract & he said he wouldn’t miss Mondays live show for anything. Can’t wait to work w/Hulk”

Rob Van Dam Comments On Whether He’s Signed With TNA

The big news yesterday came from a radio appearance by Hulk Hogan where he talked about a major name that just signed with TNA and strongly implied that the major name is Rob Van Dam. RVD posted a message on his official website (robvandam.com) stating:

“Wow, my phone has been buzzing all day, and not just because the room’s been smokey. Ever have one of those days where you can’t send out a text before two texts interrupt you. My attention span has been so distracted, I forget who I’ve called by the time the phone stops ringing and someone answers all the time. And not just because the room is smokey either.”

Van Dam stated that he’ll be making a number of radio appearances this morning (Friday) to address the TNA rumors. Van Dam appeared on Greenville, South Carolina’s New Rock 93.3 station this morning and said the following about signing with TNA:

“I would say there is a high probability that that’s going to happen. The official word is that it’s still rumor and I haven’t officially signed anything. It’s been well-publicized news that I’ve been talking to both WWE and TNA. But, talks with TNA are sounding really good lately.”
